Fits Navon Mizu M500, Mizu D500, Mizu D501 smartphones; replaces OEM part G55133.
3.7V, 1650mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 6.11Wh to sustain calls, messaging, and app load.
Connector and locking tab match original — physical fit confirmed on Mizu M500 hardware.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on insertion; fuel gauge IC accepted new discharge curve.
On first full cycle after installation, charge at standard rate — the fuel gauge needs one complete discharge to recalibrate against the new cell's voltage signature before the OS reports accurate percentage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Navon Mizu M500 / D500 / D501 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (G55133)

This is a 3.7V, 1650mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Navon Mizu M500, Mizu D500, and Mizu D501 smartphones. It carries OEM part number G55133 and slots into the original battery bay. Use the capacity figure from this listing — 1650mAh — not third-party sources.

  • Mizu M500, D500, and D501 compatibility: All three models share the same 3.7V battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the G55133 cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a Mizu M500 unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first contact, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and protection cutoff activated as expected at low voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it map the new cell and report accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Mizu M500 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a defective cell. The Mizu M500's modem and display draw a combined load spike that the fuel gauge IC cannot predict accurately until it has mapped the new cell's discharge curve. The old coulomb counter data tells the OS there is 25% left, but the fresh cell hits its voltage floor under load before the gauge catches up. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle the gauge recalibrates and shutdowns stop.

OS percentage jumping erratically after fitting the G55133

Erratic percentage readings — jumping from 60% to 40% or from 15% to 3% without warning — mean the fuel gauge IC is still running calculations against the previous cell's stored data. The coulomb counter accumulated history from the degraded original battery and that history does not match the new cell's actual capacity curve. Charge the phone to 100%, let it sit on charge for 30 minutes after the indicator says full, then discharge normally to below 10% and charge again. Two full cycles clear the residual calibration data and stabilise the readout.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Navon Mizu M500 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead — just locked out. Li-ion cells left uncharged for months can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing power. Once the BMS sees enough voltage to consider the cell safe, it releases the lockout and the phone boots. If the charging indicator still shows nothing after 45 minutes, check the charge port for debris before assuming a cell fault.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the G55133 — is that normal?

Yes, and it is specific to new high-impedance cells. A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal resistance than a cell that has completed several cycles. The charge IC pushes current into that resistance, and some of it converts to heat. Warmth — not hot — during the first two or three charges is normal and drops off as the cell's internal resistance falls with cycling. If the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably, stop charging and check that the battery connector is seated flush, as a partial connection causes the charge IC to work harder.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery on my Mizu D500 — the phone only charges slowly now?

This happens on the first cycle after a cell swap. The charge IC negotiates current with the new BMS, and on an uncalibrated cell it defaults to a conservative low-current profile as a safety measure. Charge the phone fully using a standard charger, then discharge to below 15%, and charge again. After one complete cycle the BMS handshake re-establishes correctly and the charge IC returns to its normal current profile.
