Fits BLU C5 and C010Q smartphones; replaces OEM part C775840200L.
3.7V, 2500mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the C5 after original battery degradation.
Connector slides into the battery slot with flat orientation; locking tab seats flush against the phone housing.
We bench-tested this cell in C5 hardware—BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes or voltage sag under load.
On first use after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled to allow the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU C5 / C010Q — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C775840200L)

This 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces OEM part C775840200L in the BLU C5 and C010Q smartphones. It matches the original pack's voltage rail, physical footprint (76.90 × 58.50 × 4.50mm), and connector orientation. Capacity is rated at 9.25Wh — identical to the factory specification.

  • C5 and C010Q platform fit: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V nominal rail, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a BLU C5 unit. The BMS accepted the pack without fault flags, and the charge IC completed the constant-current to constant-voltage transition cleanly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the OS starts reporting accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU C5 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it built around the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under modem and screen load than the IC expects, so it misreads remaining capacity. When the phone pulls current for a data burst or screen wake, voltage dips below the hardware cutoff threshold — around 3.2V — before the gauge catches up. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its reference curve against the new cell.

BLU C5 won't power on after sitting in storage — BMS lockout recovery

Li-Polymer cells that drop below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger a protective BMS lockout to prevent damage. If the phone shows no response and won't charge via USB, the BMS has likely tripped. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC delivers a trickle current that nudges cell voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU C5 shuts off randomly at around 25% battery — is the new cell faulty?

Almost certainly not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC in the C5 calibrated its discharge curve to the old battery, and the new cell's voltage behaviour doesn't match that stored profile yet. Under high-draw moments — mobile data, screen-on bursts — voltage sags faster than the gauge predicts, triggering a hardware cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate, and the coulomb counter will recalibrate against the new cell.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery — what's happening?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge ICs default to standard current until they confirm the new pack's BMS is responding correctly. The C5 checks impedance and BMS acknowledgement before enabling higher charge rates, and a brand-new cell with slightly higher internal impedance can cause the IC to stay in trickle or standard mode. Complete one full charge at standard rate without interruption, then reconnect — fast charging typically re-enables automatically once the IC has logged a clean charge cycle against the new cell's profile.

The battery percentage on my BLU C5 keeps jumping around erratically after replacement — how do I fix it?

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue, not a hardware fault. The IC's stored charge curve no longer matches the new cell, so its state-of-charge estimates drift. Drain the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100%. That single complete cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to rebuild an accurate reference curve, and percentage reporting stabilises from that point.
