Fits Realme V15 5G and RMX3092 models; replaces OEM battery BLP833 directly.
Outputs 3.87V nominal and 4150mAh capacity; delivers 16.06Wh total energy to the device.
Connector mates flush into the stock battery slot with no adapter needed; locking tab aligns vertically.
We bench-tested this cell on a RMX3092 unit; BMS accepted charge current without early termination or thermal delay.
On first use, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's discharge curve before high-current operation resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Realme V15 5G — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP833)

The BLP833 is a 4150mAh Li-Polymer cell at 3.87V nominal, built to replace the original battery in the Realme V15 5G (RMX3092). Battery capacity drops noticeably after 300–400 charge cycles — this cell restores the phone to full usable capacity. Dimensions are 86.80 × 63.00 × 5.00mm, matching the factory fitment.

  • Realme V15 5G / RMX3092 fitment: Both model designations run the same connector pinout, BMS handshake voltage, and charge IC communication protocol. One cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BLP833 through full charge and discharge cycles on the RMX3092. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases cleanly, and no cutoff faults were logged.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the coulomb counter locks in its reference points. Skipping this step is the main cause of erratic percentage readings in the first week.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Realme V15 5G after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff — typically around 3.5V under modem or screen load — before the gauge reaches 0%. The phone interprets this voltage drop as a fault and cuts power to protect the SoC. One complete slow discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge, resets the coulomb counter reference and eliminates the premature cutoff.

USB-PD or VOOC fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

Realme's proprietary charge protocol requires the BMS to report a minimum cell voltage before the charge IC allows high-current negotiation. A freshly installed cell stored below 3.6V may not clear that threshold on the first plug-in, so the phone falls back to standard 5W charging. Leave the phone connected for 10–15 minutes at standard rate until the cell reaches 3.7V — fast charge will activate automatically on that session or the next. No reset or reboot is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Realme V15 5G shows 25% battery and just shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell itself is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC in the RMX3092 was calibrated to the discharge curve of the degraded original cell, so it misreads where the new cell's voltage cliff sits under 5G modem load. Run one complete slow discharge — screen on, no fast charge — until the phone shuts itself off, then charge fully without interruption. After that single cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my Realme V15 5G jumps around erratically after fitting the BLP833 — it reads 60%, then jumps to 45%, then back up.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a cell it has never seen before. The RMX3092's gauge uses a stored discharge model; when the actual cell voltage doesn't match that model, the percentage reading corrects itself in visible jumps. Complete two full slow charge-discharge cycles with fast charging disabled and the gauge settles. After the second cycle the percentage tracking stabilises to within a few percent.

My Realme V15 5G won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the BLP833 dropped below 2.5V the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent cell damage — the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC delivers a low-current trickle that brings the cell back above the 2.8V BMS release threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone powers on.
