Fits BLU EZ2Go smartphone; replaces OEM battery N4U85T.
3.7V, 1200mAh lithium-ion cell restores full capacity to entry-level Android handsets.
Connector seats flat into EZ2Go slot with no locking tab required.
Bench test showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging stresses an uncalibrated BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU EZ2Go — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (N4U85T)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original N4U85T battery in the BLU EZ2Go smartphone. It fits directly into the EZ2Go's battery bay and connects via the stock ribbon connector. Capacity figure is taken from the product specification — 4.44Wh total energy.

  • EZ2Go platform fit: The EZ2Go uses a fixed 3.7V nominal rail with a single-cell Li-ion architecture. This replacement matches that voltage rail and the original connector pinout, so the phone's charge IC sees the new cell the same way it saw the factory cell.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS accepted charge termination correctly at 4.2V and held cutoff at 3.0V under load without tripping early.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if the option is available and run one full discharge-charge cycle before resuming normal use. This gives the EZ2Go's fuel gauge IC time to map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU EZ2Go after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still reading the old cell's discharge curve against the new cell's actual voltage behaviour. As the new cell drops toward 3.5V under modem or screen load, the voltage sags faster than the IC predicts. The phone reads 25% on screen but the cell voltage has already crossed the hardware cutoff threshold. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and clears this.

BLU EZ2Go not powering on after sitting in storage

If a replacement cell has been stored discharged for several months, its resting voltage can fall below 2.5V. At that level the BMS locks out to prevent damage, and the phone shows nothing when you press power. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will push a low-current trickle into the cell until it recovers above 2.9V, at which point the BMS re-initialises and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BLU EZ2Go shows 30% battery and then shuts off completely — is the new cell faulty?

This is almost always a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a defective cell. The phone's coulomb counter was mapped to the old cell's discharge curve and hasn't adjusted to the new one yet. Run the phone down until it shuts itself off, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. After one full cycle the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and the early shutdowns stop.

The BLU EZ2Go battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I installed the replacement — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is actively recalibrating against the new cell and hasn't settled yet. It reads voltage samples and cross-references them against a stored curve that was built on the original cell — so early readings are unreliable. This is normal for the first one to two cycles. Complete a full discharge and full charge without interruption and the percentage will stabilise.

My BLU EZ2Go feels warm near the battery while charging the new cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell typically has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes current into higher resistance during the first few cycles — this generates a small amount of heat. It should not be hot to the touch, just warm. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, disconnect and let it cool, then resume charging at a lower-output adapter — a 5V 1A charger keeps current within a safe range for a 1200mAh cell.
