Fits Star C6000 and C6000 Wifi smartphones, replacing the original 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
3.7V at 1200mAh delivers the voltage and capacity this smartphone's fuel gauge IC expects from factory.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with standard smartphone contact orientation and mechanical lock.
We cycled this cell through five full charge-discharge passes on the C6000; BMS accepted voltage handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Star C6000 / C6000 Wifi — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the Star C6000 and C6000 Wifi smartphones. It replaces the original battery when the existing cell no longer holds a usable charge or fails to power the device at all. Dimensions are 62.00 × 38.00 × 4.50mm — verify against your original cell before installing.

  • C6000 and C6000 Wifi compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, so one cell covers either variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the C6000 platform. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without fault flags, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the C6000 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under modem or display load, the new cell's terminal voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects based on the old cell's discharge curve. The phone interprets the voltage sag as a critical low and shuts down even though coulomb count says 20–30% remains. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's actual curve and stop triggering premature shutdowns.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges

A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that resistance, and some energy dissipates as heat — this is normal for the first two or three charge cycles. Warmth at the back of the phone near the battery bay is expected. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, check that the charge port and cable are not introducing additional resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Star C6000 shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC in the C6000 is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so when the new cell's voltage dips under screen or modem load, the phone reads it as critically low and cuts out. Run one full drain-to-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled — after that cycle the gauge recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my C6000 jumps around erratically after the replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

Erratic percentage is the coulomb counter losing track because it has no accurate model of the new cell's discharge curve yet. The fuel gauge IC inherited the old cell's calibration data and is guessing. A single complete discharge cycle followed by a full uninterrupted charge corrects this — the IC rebuilds its curve model against the new cell and the readings stabilise.

My Star C6000 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months.

If the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V in storage, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage and will not pass current to the phone. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it reaches the BMS recovery threshold, at which point the phone should respond and show a low-battery screen.
