3.7V 1200mAh lithium-ion cell restores full capacity to the smartphone after wear degradation.
Connector and locking tab match OEM housing; slides into battery slot without modification needed.
We ran full discharge cycles on the BMS — fuel gauge accepted the new cell after one complete charge-discharge cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone 1080 / 9010 / 9015TV / 8920 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MP-S-V)

This is a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion cell built to the MP-S-V specification, measuring 62.00 × 38.00 × 4.50mm. It fits the MyPhone 1080, 9010, 9015TV, and 8920, along with two additional models in the same family. Install it when the original cell can no longer hold enough charge to get through a normal day.

  • Cross-model fit — 1080 to 9015TV: These MyPhone handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal rail. One cell covers the entire group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the MP-S-V cell through charge and load on the bench. The BMS held protection thresholds correctly and accepted a full charge without tripping the overcurrent cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable any fast-charge mode and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before higher charge rates are applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the MyPhone 1080 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the MyPhone 1080 stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references that old curve, so the percentage it reports is off — often reading 100% when the cell is not full, or dropping fast in the mid-range. The fix is one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full uninterrupted charge. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. Under peak load — mobile data, a bright screen, or a call — the cell voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects, hitting the BMS undervoltage cutoff while the displayed percentage still reads 20–30%. It happens most often in the first few cycles before the gauge IC has enough data to predict the new cell's sag curve accurately. Run two to three full discharge-charge cycles at normal use intensity and the shutdowns will move closer to the actual low-voltage floor, typically around 3.0V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MyPhone 1080 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what's happening?

If the cell voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button or show a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it untouched for 20 to 30 minutes. Once the BMS sees enough voltage recovery, it releases the lockout and the charging screen appears.

The MyPhone shows "Charging" but the percentage hasn't moved in over an hour — is the new battery faulty?

This is almost always the fuel gauge IC lagging, not a faulty cell. On a freshly installed MP-S-V cell, the IC has no reference data yet and can report a static percentage while the cell is actually accepting current normally. Leave the phone on charge with the screen off for a full cycle. If the percentage still does not advance after a complete charge at standard wall current, check that the charge IC is not throttling due to elevated cell temperature — the phone should be cool to the touch at the back during a healthy charge.

Fast charging stopped working after I put the new battery in — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC on many MyPhone handsets defaults to a reduced current rate until it completes one full charge profile and logs the cell's internal resistance. This is intentional — the IC runs a slow pre-charge phase on an uncharacterised cell. Complete one full uninterrupted charge from near-empty to 100% at the slower rate. Fast charging, where the device supports it, typically re-enables on the second cycle once the charge IC has a baseline resistance reading from the MP-S-V cell.
