Fits BLU Rave smartphone; replaces OEM battery part number C634104130T.
Delivers 3.7V, 1500mAh capacity — enough for a full day of calling, messaging, and app use on the Rave.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with standard Li-ion orientation; locking tab seats flush against the phone chassis.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage held steady through discharge cycles without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Rave — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C634104130T)

This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell built to fit the BLU Rave smartphone. It replaces OEM part number C634104130T directly. The Rave is a compact Android handset, and this cell restores its calling, messaging, and app functions when the original cell has degraded past usable capacity.

  • BLU Rave fit: The Rave uses a proprietary cell footprint measuring 65.23 × 41.98 × 5.21mm with a three-pin connector that carries charge data to the phone's fuel gauge IC. This cell matches that connector and physical envelope exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the BLU Rave platform. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge across the full voltage window from 4.2V down to the 3.0V cutoff.
  • First-cycle calibration on the Rave: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging in the Rave's settings and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean baseline against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Why the BLU Rave reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Rave's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When you fit a new cell, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The IC may report 50% when the real state of charge is closer to 30%, or jump erratically as it tries to reconcile the mismatch. One full discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a complete charge to 100%, forces the coulomb counter to reset and relearn against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the BLU Rave

This is a voltage cliff failure, not a capacity failure. Under modem transmission or screen-on load, the cell voltage drops sharply below the threshold the Rave's protection circuit tolerates — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A degraded or deeply discharged replacement cell has elevated internal resistance that accelerates this voltage sag under load. If this happens, charge the cell uninterrupted to 4.2V and confirm the phone holds stable voltage above 3.6V during an active call before assuming the cell is faulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BLU Rave won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, which triggers the BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect it to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 30–45 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage rises above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will boot normally.

The BLU Rave is noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges after fitting this cell — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell dissipates more heat than a broken-in one because the charge IC pushes current into a cell that hasn't yet settled its internal resistance. This is most pronounced in the first two to three charge cycles. Monitor the temperature — warm is expected, hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch is not. If the phone stays uncomfortably hot past the third full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated and the back cover is not compressing the cell.

Fast charging stopped working on the BLU Rave after I installed this replacement — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately satisfy the handshake the Rave's charge IC uses to authorize higher charge current. This is a negotiation issue, not a fault. Run one complete charge to 100% at standard rate, then disconnect and reconnect the charger. The charge IC re-initiates the protocol with a calibrated cell and fast charging typically resumes. If it does not, confirm you are using the original BLU charger — third-party adapters often cannot complete the proprietary charge negotiation.
