Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo LePhone W100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B5765620003)
This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Lenovo LePhone 3G W100 and LePhone W100. It also fits the Lphone 3GW100 and 3GW101 variants that share the same battery bay and connector. OEM part numbers B5765620003 and BL161 both cross-reference to this cell.
- W100 and W101 platform fit: The W100 and W101 share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, battery footprint, and connector pinout. One cell covers both variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a W100 unit. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on the first cycle and held voltage through a full screen-on discharge without tripping the protection circuit.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging begins — skipping this step causes the percentage display to drift or jump for the first few days.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the W100 after a cell swap
A fresh cell has a different discharge curve than the degraded cell the fuel gauge IC was trained on. When the reported percentage says 25%, the actual cell voltage may have already dropped below the modem and display load threshold. The BMS then cuts power to protect the cell even though the OS still showed charge remaining. One full discharge to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge without interruption, resets the coulomb counter and aligns the percentage reading to the new cell's curve.
Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges
A new cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC pushes current against that resistance, which generates heat at the battery contact area during the first two or three charge cycles. This is normal and diminishes as the cell completes its initial cycles. If warmth persists beyond the third full charge, check that the battery connector is seated flat — a partially engaged connector increases contact resistance and adds heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
My W100 shuts off at around 25% after fitting this battery — is the cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the W100 is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's actual voltage drops under modem or screen load, the BMS cuts out even though the percentage counter hasn't caught up. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without removing the phone from the charger — that single cycle re-anchors the coulomb counter to the new cell's voltage curve.
The battery percentage on my W100 jumps around erratically after the replacement — sometimes it goes up a few percent while I'm using the phone.
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating. It tracks charge by counting current in and out, and the reference points it stored for the old cell no longer match the new cell's capacity and internal resistance. The counter overshoots and undershoots until it collects enough cycle data to build an accurate model. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles — discharge to automatic shutdown each time — and the readings will stabilise.
The W100 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for several months before I installed it.
A Li-ion cell that sits uncharged for months can drop below 2.5V. At that voltage, the BMS locks the cell out to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button or show a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it untouched for 20–30 minutes — most BMS circuits include a trickle-recovery path that slowly raises cell voltage back above the lockout threshold before switching to normal charge current. If the phone still shows no response after 30 minutes, try a different USB cable and adapter before concluding the cell is unrecoverable.
