Fits Samsung Transform Ultra SPH-M930 and replaces OEM part EB484659VA, EB484659VABSTD, EB484659VU.
3.7V, 1200mAh cell restores call and messaging runtime lost to battery degradation or age.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot; locking tab seats flush when cell seats fully.
We bench-tested this pack on Transform Ultra hardware — fuel gauge IC accepted the BMS handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
On first full charge after installation, disable any fast-charge settings and run one complete discharge-charge cycle so the phone recalibrates its fuel gauge against the new cell's actual discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BoostMobile Transform Ultra / SPH-M930 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB484659VA)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the BoostMobile Transform Ultra (SPH-M930) smartphone. It slots directly into the battery bay and restores power to calls, messaging, and apps. Capacity is sourced from product data at 4.44Wh — match the OEM part number EB484659VA before ordering.

  • Transform Ultra / SPH-M930 fitment: Both model names reference the same hardware platform. They share an identical battery bay, connector pitch, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both designations.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SPH-M930 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, run one full discharge-to-charge cycle with fast charging disabled. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Transform Ultra after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC on the SPH-M930 is still running a discharge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under modem and screen load than the IC expects. The phone reads 25% but the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the shutdown threshold. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging lets the coulomb counter reset against the new cell's real capacity curve.

Device not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage and will not pass current to the phone. The phone shows nothing — no boot screen, no charge indicator. Connect the charger and leave it for 15–30 minutes without pressing power; the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell above the BMS re-initialisation threshold before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Transform Ultra keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the SPH-M930 is still using a discharge curve mapped to your old, degraded battery, so it misjudges where the actual voltage cliff sits on the new cell. Under modem or screen load, the cell voltage drops faster than the IC predicts and the phone cuts out before the gauge hits zero. Run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% with fast charging off — this resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and clears the mismatch.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then suddenly drops to 40%, then climbs back up. What's causing that?

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating. The SPH-M930's coulomb counter lost its reference point when the old cell was removed, and it's now estimating state-of-charge with no accurate baseline for the new cell's discharge curve. The jumps narrow and stabilise after one or two full discharge-charge cycles. Keep fast charging disabled during those first two cycles so the IC can track the cell's voltage curve at a steady current rate.

The phone won't fast charge after fitting the replacement battery — it only trickle charges. Why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the SPH-M930 often defaults to a reduced charge rate until it can verify the new cell's internal impedance is within expected limits. This is a protective hold, not a fault. Plug in, let the phone charge to 100% at the reduced rate, then unplug and discharge normally. On the second charge cycle the IC rechecks impedance against the now-partially-cycled cell and typically restores the full charge current.
