Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bosch BCHF2MX16 Readyy'y Serie 2 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (908BPV144-01)
This 14.4V 3400mAh Li-ion battery pack replaces the original 908BPV144-01 cell in the Bosch BCHF2MX16, BCHF2MX16/04, Readyy'y Serie 2, and VXAS012V14 cordless vacuums. When the original pack degrades, suction drops noticeably before the low-battery indicator even activates. This replacement restores the full voltage rail the motor needs to maintain consistent airflow across cleaning sessions.
- BCHF2MX16 and VXAS012V14 compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one pack fits all four listed variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the BCHF2MX16 platform. The BMS handled motor-start inrush current cleanly and held voltage above the 12V cutoff threshold under sustained suction load.
- Dock charging habit on Readyy'y Serie 2: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Bosch's cordless vacuum charger does not cut trickle current once the pack is full. Cells left on continuous dock charge lose capacity measurably faster than packs charged only when depleted — charge to full, then remove.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the BCHF2MX16
The BCHF2MX16 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — airflow restriction forces the motor to work harder, pulling the pack voltage down earlier than the indicator expects. The battery indicator is calibrated against a clean-filter draw rate, so voltage sag under a dirty filter reads as normal until the pack can no longer sustain it. A degraded original cell compounds this: internal resistance rises with age, accelerating voltage drop under load. Check and clean the filter first; if suction still drops early with this replacement pack installed, the filter is the cause, not the battery.
Motor cutting out mid-session and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the vacuum picks up a blockage or the filter is heavily restricted, current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack shuts the circuit. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the motor restarts — the cycle then repeats if the restriction is still present. Clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose and inspect the filter before assuming the pack is faulty. If the motor runs without cutting out after clearing the restriction, the BMS is functioning correctly at its rated trip point.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Bosch BCHF2MX16 loses suction noticeably halfway through cleaning even though the battery light hasn't come on yet — is that the battery fading?
It can be, but a clogged filter is the more common cause. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drags pack voltage down early — well before the indicator registers low. Clean the filter first and retest. If suction holds consistently after that, the filter was the problem; if it still drops, the pack's internal resistance has risen and replacement is the correct fix.
The vacuum motor on my Readyy'y Serie 2 cuts out for a few seconds, then restarts on its own — what's happening?
The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a dead cell. This happens when a blockage or a heavily loaded filter pushes motor current past the pack's protection threshold. The BMS cuts the circuit, resets after a few seconds, and the motor restarts. Clear the nozzle and hose of any blockage, clean the filter, then run the vacuum again — if it stops cutting out, the BMS was responding correctly to a real restriction.
I've always left my BCHF2MX16 on the dock between uses — could that have damaged my original battery?
Yes. Bosch's cordless vacuum charger does not stop trickle current once the pack reaches full charge. Cells held at full voltage under continuous low current degrade measurably faster than cells that are charged and then removed. With a new pack installed, charge it fully on the dock, then unplug or remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use. That single habit change significantly slows capacity fade over the pack's service life.
