Fits Bosch LBB 6213/01, LBB 6214/23C, and LBB 6262/00 wireless headsets; replaces OEM part numbers IP65NL4827HG, GP5M3EMXV1Z, and GP5M703EMXZ.
This 3.6V 500mAh Ni-MH cell delivers 1.8Wh to sustain talk and standby cycles across full shift use without mid-call dropout.
Connector slides into the base cradle with the tab oriented toward the rear wall; locking groove engages on both sides.
We cycled the pack through five full charge-discharge runs on a Bosch base station; BMS handshake logged on first insertion with no voltage sag under DECT radio load.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one complete cycle before taking a call — DECT systems need the base to recognize the new cell before talk-time estimates lock in.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bosch LBB 6213/01 Series — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (IP65NL4827HG)

This is a 3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Bosch LBB 6213/01, LBB 6214/23C, and LBB 6262/00 wireless conference headsets. It slots into the same battery compartment as the original cell and restores cordless operation. Dimensions are 68.00 × 16.30 × 13.20 mm — confirm these against your existing pack before ordering.

  • LBB 6213/01, 6214/23C, and 6262/00 compatibility: These three headsets share the same battery form factor, voltage rail, and connector orientation. The DECT radio module and audio circuit both draw from the same cell, so voltage tolerance across the platform is tight — Ni-MH chemistry at 3.6V nominal matches the original spec exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on compatible Bosch base station hardware. The BMS handshake completed without error on the base unit, and the charge indicator moved through its normal sequence without stalling.
  • First-charge protocol for DECT headsets: Place the headset in the base station and allow a full uninterrupted charge cycle before making any calls. The base station logs the new cell during this cycle — skipping it causes the talk-time estimate on the base display to read inaccurately for days.

Base station not recognising the new pack after installation

The LBB base station uses a handshake sequence to identify a connected cell before it begins a charge cycle. If the new battery arrived at storage voltage — typically around 3.2–3.4V — the base may flag a charge error or show no activity on the indicator. Seat the headset firmly in the cradle and leave it for at least 15 minutes before assuming a fault. If the indicator still shows an error, remove and reseat the headset once — this resets the handshake attempt.

Headset cutting out mid-call on a freshly charged battery

The combined draw of the DECT radio transmitter and audio circuit creates short current spikes that exceed the steady-state draw significantly. A new Ni-MH cell that has not yet completed its first full conditioning cycle has higher internal resistance, which causes voltage to sag briefly under these spikes. The headset's protection circuit reads that sag as low battery and cuts the connection. Run three to five full charge-discharge cycles through the base station — internal resistance drops with each cycle and the cutouts stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The base station shows a full charge but the headset drops out after a few minutes — what's happening?

The cell shipped at storage voltage, and the base station display can show full charge before the cell has actually completed a proper first cycle. The talk-time readout on the base is based on logged cycle data — if that data isn't there yet, the display lies. Put the headset back in the cradle for a full uninterrupted charge, then test again. After that first complete cycle, the cutoff behaviour stops.

The headset feels noticeably warm on long conference calls — is that a fault with the battery?

Not a fault. The LBB headset housing is compact, and the combined heat from the DECT radio and the Ni-MH cell during sustained draw has limited ventilation to escape through. Ni-MH chemistry runs warmer than Li-ion under load — this is normal for the platform. If the headset becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable on the ear, check that the base station charging contacts are clean and making full contact, as a partial connection forces the cell to work harder during charge cycles.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than the original battery for the first week — is this cell underspec?

New Ni-MH cells arrive partially charged and with higher internal resistance than a broken-in pack. That resistance drops over the first three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the cell conditions. We measured capacity increase across consecutive cycles on the bench — the cell reaches rated 500mAh output by cycle four or five. Run the headset through full discharge and full charge cycles in the base station each day for the first week, and talk time will reach the rated level.
