Fits Cleanmaxx Smart Plus cordless vacuum and replaces OEM part BAT-101 directly.
14.4V and 2600mAh capacity deliver 37.44Wh to sustain suction on carpet and hard floors.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with a locking tab that clicks twice fully seated.
We bench-tested this cell on the Smart Plus motor load — BMS accepted the charge profile without fault codes.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously; trickle charging degrades capacity faster than charge-to-full-then-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cleanmaxx Smart Plus — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BAT-101)

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Cleanmaxx Smart Plus cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits directly in place of the original BAT-101 pack. When the original cell degrades and suction weakens noticeably mid-clean, this is the part to replace.

  • Smart Plus motor compatibility: The Smart Plus draws current through a 14.4V rail with a BMS that monitors cell voltage under motor load. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector spec, so the BMS handshake completes and the motor spins up without fault codes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the Smart Plus platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low voltage and allowed full charge acceptance without triggering overcharge protection prematurely.
  • Dock charging on the Smart Plus: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the battery reaches full charge. The Smart Plus dock does not interrupt trickle current automatically — leaving it docked continuously accelerates capacity fade in the cell over weeks.

Suction dropping well before the battery indicator shows low

This happens when the motor is working harder than rated — usually a partially blocked filter causing restricted airflow. Increased motor draw pulls more current from the cell, which drops the pack voltage faster than the indicator can track. The indicator reads state-of-charge from open-circuit voltage, not from load-adjusted voltage, so it lags behind real depletion. Clean or replace the filter first before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during a cleaning run

This is a BMS overcurrent trip. It triggers when the motor draws a current spike above the pack's continuous discharge threshold — most often caused by a blockage in the brush head or a clogged filter forcing the motor to labour. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, then resets after a few seconds once current demand drops. Clear the blockage, check the filter, and confirm the cell voltage is above 12.0V before the next run.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Cleanmaxx Smart Plus has noticeably weaker suction even with a full battery — why?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drags cell voltage down faster than suction recovers. The battery may be fine — the restricted airflow is the actual cause. Remove and clean the filter, then run the vacuum again. If suction restores, the battery was not the problem.

The Smart Plus motor keeps switching off for a few seconds then comes back on — what is happening?

The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike, which usually means something is partially blocking the brush head or the filter is heavily loaded. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, then resets automatically once current draw falls. Clear any blockage from the brush head and clean the filter, then verify the pack voltage reads above 12.0V under load before continuing.

I left the Smart Plus on the dock for two weeks and now it runs noticeably shorter than it used to — is the new battery ruined?

Continuous dock charging pushes a trickle current into the cell even after it reaches full charge, which degrades capacity over time. A new replacement cell can show the same fade if left on the dock permanently. The fix going forward is to remove the vacuum from the dock once charging completes. If the new cell was stored correctly before fitting, capacity should recover to near-rated on the first few full charge and discharge cycles.
