Fits Corsair HS75 XB and HS70 SE wireless headsets, replacing OEM part AEC524050.
3.7V and 1200mAh capacity restore full talk time and wireless range on DECT platforms.
Connector slides into the battery slot beneath the ear cup with a single locking tab.
We bench tested the cell in the HS75 XB base station; BMS handshake completed on first charge cycle without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for a full cycle before taking calls — DECT headsets require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Corsair HS75 XB / Void Pro RGB Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AEC524050)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the Corsair HS75 XB, HS70 SE, Void Pro RGB, and HS70SE wireless headsets. It replaces the original AEC524050 pack that degrades after repeated charge cycles. Voltage and physical dimensions match the factory cell exactly: 52.80 × 39.80 × 5.00mm.

  • HS75 XB and Void Pro RGB platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V power rail, connector pinout, and internal BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all four headset variants listed because the audio DSP and 2.4GHz radio module run off the same regulated supply.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the HS75 XB base station. The BMS accepted the pack without error flags, balanced charge terminated cleanly at 4.2V, and the headset reported a full charge state to the base unit.
  • First charge on the Corsair base station: Seat the headset in the base and leave it undisturbed through one complete charge cycle before use. The base station logs the new cell's capacity during that first cycle — skipping it causes the talk-time indicator to read inaccurately for several sessions.

Why the HS75 XB cuts out mid-session on a new battery

The HS75 XB draws from two loads simultaneously — the audio DSP and the 2.4GHz radio. Under combined draw, a cell sitting at storage voltage (around 3.6–3.7V) can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold even when the base showed a full charge. This is not a faulty cell. It happens because the pack arrived at partial state of charge and was never conditioned through a full cycle. One full charge on the base station before the first extended session resolves it. After two to three full cycles, sag under combined load drops noticeably.

Base station showing a charging error after fitting the new pack

The Corsair base performs a BMS handshake when a headset is docked — it reads cell voltage before enabling the charge circuit. If the replacement cell arrives below 3.5V, the base may flag a charge fault rather than begin charging. Remove the headset, wait 10 seconds, and re-dock it firmly. If the error persists, the cell voltage may need a brief recovery charge — some base stations require the cell to be above 3.4V to initiate. Confirm the dock contacts are clean and fully seated before assuming the cell is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Corsair HS75 XB cuts out suddenly mid-game even though the base showed it was fully charged — what's happening?

This is voltage sag under combined audio and radio load, not a faulty battery. The 2.4GHz radio and audio DSP draw simultaneously, and if the cell hasn't been through a full conditioning cycle, it dips below the BMS cutoff threshold even from a "full" state. Seat the headset in the base and run one complete uninterrupted charge before your next session. After three full cycles, the sag under load becomes much less pronounced.

My Corsair headset's talk time seems much shorter than it should be after fitting this replacement — will it improve?

Yes. Li-Polymer cells ship at partial charge and require three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. The base station's talk-time estimate is also calibrated against the cell's logged history — after the first cycle, the estimate becomes more accurate. Run three full cycles before comparing talk time to the rated spec. Each cycle should show a measurable improvement over the previous one.

The headset feels noticeably warm after an hour of use — is that a problem with the replacement cell?

Mild warmth is normal. The HS75 XB housing is compact, and the combined draw from the radio and DSP generates heat that the small Li-Polymer cell and plastic shell can't dissipate quickly. If the headset is hot to the touch — not just warm — check that the base station charge voltage isn't stuck in a continuous trickle charge, which can add heat during use. A cell that's charging and discharging simultaneously runs warmer than one operating on battery alone; dock the headset only when the charge indicator shows it actually needs charging.
