Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Rode GO Receiver / Go Transmitter — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (NTA572125)
This is a 3.7V 320mAh (1.18Wh) lithium-polymer cell that fits the Rode GO Receiver and Go Transmitter. Both units run on the same compact LiPo pack, making this a single replacement that covers either half of the Wireless GO system. Replace this cell when the original degrades and the unit can no longer hold a charge through a recording session.
- Wireless GO Receiver and Transmitter compatibility: Both units share the same NTA572125 cell footprint, voltage rail, and connector orientation. The BMS in each unit communicates charge state through the same three-contact pad arrangement, so one cell works across both devices without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the cell through charge cycles on the GO Receiver and confirmed the BMS accepted the pack, reported charge state correctly, and held voltage above 3.5V under combined RF transmission and audio draw before tapering.
- First-use charge cycle on the GO Receiver: After fitting, charge the unit via USB until the LED indicator shows a full charge before using it for a recording session. The GO Receiver's onboard BMS needs one complete charge cycle to calibrate its remaining-charge reporting accurately — skipping this means the battery indicator may cut off unexpectedly mid-session.
Why the GO Receiver drops signal during active recording
The GO Receiver runs both the 2.4GHz RF front end and the audio processing simultaneously. Under that combined draw, a degraded or low-voltage cell sags below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the battery indicator suggests. The result looks like a wireless dropout but is actually a voltage event inside the unit. A fresh cell at full charge handles the peak draw without sagging to cutoff.
Battery indicator shows full but GO Receiver shuts off after a few minutes
This happens when a replacement cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — and the BMS has not yet completed a calibration cycle. The indicator reads the resting voltage as full, but the cell cannot sustain load. Charge the unit fully via USB before first use. After one complete charge-to-discharge cycle, the BMS recalibrates and the indicator tracks accurately against actual remaining capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions
My GO Receiver cuts out mid-recording even though the battery indicator still shows charge — what's happening?
This is a voltage sag event, not a wireless dropout. The 2.4GHz radio and audio processing draw a combined load that a degraded or partially calibrated cell cannot sustain, and the BMS cuts power before the indicator reaches zero. Fit the new cell, charge it fully via USB, and run one complete charge cycle before your next session. After that cycle, the BMS tracks load voltage accurately and the cutout should stop.
The GO Receiver's charge LED keeps blinking after I fitted the new battery — is the BMS rejecting the pack?
A blinking charge LED usually means the BMS has not completed its handshake with the new cell, often because the cell arrived at storage voltage below the threshold the charger expects to see. Connect to USB power and leave it for a full charge cycle without interrupting it. Once the LED holds solid, the BMS has logged the new pack and charging will behave normally from that point.
The GO Transmitter feels noticeably warm after extended use — is that a problem with this cell?
Some warmth is normal. The transmitter runs continuous RF output in a very small housing with limited thermal mass, and the NTA572125 cell sits close to the RF circuitry. If the unit becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, check that the cell contacts are seated flush and the housing is fully closed — a poorly seated cell forces the BMS to work harder under load. Normal operating temperature should stay well below 45°C at the outer casing.
