Fits Cyrus CM15 smartphone; replaces OEM part number CYR10015 and HE-129382.
3.7V at 1700mAh delivers the voltage and capacity the CM15 fuel gauge expects; undersized cells cause premature shutdown warnings.
Connector type is proprietary Cyrus; tab orientation locks downward into the battery bay slot without forcing.
We ran full discharge cycles on the bench; the BMS accepted charge current immediately and held voltage under sustained modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cyrus CM15 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CYR10015)

This is a 3.7V, 1700mAh Li-ion cell for the Cyrus CM15 smartphone. It replaces the original battery when capacity has faded or the cell has failed outright. Voltage and connector match the CM15 board — no modification needed.

  • CM15 platform fit: The CM15 uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with a specific connector orientation and BMS pin-out. This cell matches that layout. The protection circuit handles overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit cutoff the same way the OEM cell does.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the CM15 board. The BMS handshake completed without error flags, and the charge IC accepted the cell without triggering a fault state.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve accurately before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the CM15 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The CM15 uses a coulomb counter that builds its reference model from the previous cell's charge history. When a new cell goes in, that reference is stale. The phone reads state-of-charge against the old curve, so displayed percentage drifts from actual capacity. One full discharge to auto-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the counter against the new cell's actual characteristics.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't recalibrated yet. At 20–30% indicated charge, the cell voltage drops below the load threshold under modem or screen demand — the phone cuts power before the display catches up. The protection circuit trips at approximately 3.0V under load. Run one full cycle without fast charge and the gauge will track the real voltage floor correctly from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

The CM15 won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

The BMS locks out when cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V during storage, cutting all output to protect the cell from permanent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS recovery threshold, after which a normal boot should follow.

Fast charging stopped working the day after I fitted the replacement cell — it was fine the first charge but now it's slow?

On the first cycle the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake sometimes completes before the BMS has fully characterised the new cell's impedance. The charge IC then defaults to standard current on subsequent cycles as a precaution. Drain the battery fully to auto-shutdown, charge to 100% at standard speed, then reboot the phone — this resets the charge profile negotiation and fast charging typically resumes from that point.

The battery percentage on my CM15 keeps jumping around — it was at 60%, dropped to 40%, then went back up without charging anything?

Erratic percentage readings are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter is still mapping the new cell's discharge curve and producing unstable state-of-charge estimates until it has enough cycle data. Let the phone discharge to auto-shutdown once, then charge to 100% in one uninterrupted session. After that single full cycle the gauge has enough reference data to track remaining charge accurately.
