Fits Evolveo StrongPhone X1 smartphone; replaces OEM part number SGP-X1BAT.
This 3.7V, 1700mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge capacity lost through normal aging.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot without modification or adapter.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the BMS; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without error codes.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Evolveo StrongPhone X1 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SGP-X1BAT)

This is a 3.7V, 1700mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Evolveo StrongPhone X1. It uses OEM part number SGP-X1BAT and fits the StrongPhone X1 directly. Cell dimensions are 52.20 × 36.00 × 10.50mm — measure your original before ordering if you are unsure.

  • StrongPhone X1 compatibility: The X1 runs a single-cell Li-ion architecture at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector pinout, so the charge IC and protection circuit communicate with the cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the StrongPhone X1 platform. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and no overcurrent flags appeared on load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the X1 calibrates against the cell's discharge curve — skipping this step with high current into an uncalibrated cell causes erratic percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the StrongPhone X1

This happens when the cell voltage drops below what the modem or display can sustain under peak load, even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. Aged cells develop high internal resistance — under load, voltage sags faster than the coulomb counter expects. A replacement cell with lower internal resistance closes that gap. After fitting this battery, run one full discharge cycle so the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's voltage curve accurately before trusting the percentage readout.

StrongPhone X1 not powering on after storage

If a phone sits in storage for several months with a depleted battery, the BMS can lock the cell out once voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell. The phone shows nothing on screen and does not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a low-current charger — 5V/500mA USB — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes before attempting to power on. This gives the BMS enough voltage headroom to exit lockout and allow a normal charge cycle to begin.

Frequently Asked Questions

The StrongPhone X1 shows a completely different battery percentage after I fitted the new cell — it jumped from 12% to 67% on its own. What's wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC on the X1 stores a learned discharge curve from the old battery — it applies that old curve to the new cell and reads the percentage incorrectly. Run one complete discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge fully without interruption. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to recalibrate against the new cell's actual capacity.

My StrongPhone X1 feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges after replacement. Should I stop charging it?

Some warmth on the first one or two charge cycles is expected. A new cell starts with slightly higher impedance than a conditioned one, so the charge IC works harder to push current in. We measured surface temperatures during bench charging and they stayed within normal thermal limits. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the back panel distorts, disconnect immediately — otherwise, warmth alone on the first cycle is not a reason to stop charging.

Fast charging stopped working on my StrongPhone X1 after swapping the battery — it only charges slowly now. How do I fix it?

The fast charge handshake on the X1 can fail on the first cycle with a new BMS because the charge IC has not yet confirmed the cell's acceptance parameters. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect and power on with the charger still attached. If fast charging still does not engage after one full standard charge cycle, check that the charging cable supports the required current — a 5V/1A-only cable will cap charge rate regardless of the cell fitted.
