• QBT2131 / QBT2400 series compatibility: These models share the same 3.7V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, which is why one pack covers the full range. The protection circuit communicates directly with the scanner's charge management IC, so the dock recognises the pack and begins a standard charge cycle without any configuration change.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the QBT2400 platform. The BMS held voltage within spec across both the wireless radio draw and repeated scan trigger inrush events. No false low-battery cutoffs occurred during the test sequence.

A charging error on a new pack almost always comes down to contact resistance at the dock pins, not a fault with the battery itself. Oxidation, dust, or a slight misalignment between the pack contacts and cradle pins raises resistance enough for the dock to flag an error. Wipe the gold contacts on the battery and the cradle with a dry lint-free cloth, then reseat the pack firmly until it clicks. If the error clears within 30 seconds, the contacts were the cause.

During a rapid scan burst, the scanner is pulling current for both the imager and the 2.4GHz radio simultaneously. If dropouts continue after a full charge, check that the cradle is delivering a complete charge cycle rather than a partial top-up by confirming the charge LED goes solid before removing the scanner.
