This 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the Ecovacs Deebot D83 robotic vacuum. It fits the D83, ECOMB83, DGN22, and DGN22-11 models, among others. Drop it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a cleaning cycle.

• D83 and DGN22 platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits across the entire group without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on a D83 unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the dock charger, accepted charge without error codes, and delivered consistent voltage across the draw profile the motor produces on carpet.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the D83

The D83's motor draws higher current on carpet than on hard floors. When the battery cell capacity has faded, internal resistance rises and voltage sags under that load — even if the indicator still reads mid-range. The robot interprets this as normal operation, so it does not flag a battery warning. The result is noticeably weaker suction well before the low-battery signal fires. A fresh cell restores the voltage headroom the motor needs to sustain full suction across the whole run.

D83 motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. It happens when restricted airflow — usually a partially blocked filter or a full dustbin — forces the motor to draw sustained current above the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS shuts the output, the unit pauses, then resets once current demand drops. Clean the filter and empty the dustbin first. If the cutout persists on a clear filter, check that the replacement battery's BMS cutoff rating matches the D83's motor draw spec — verify the cell is seated and the connector is fully engaged before running another cycle.
