Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 900 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (S01-LI-148-2600)
This 14.4V 3400mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 900, 901, 905, and 930 robotic vacuum cleaners. It slots into the same bay as the factory unit, connecting to the same BMS-controlled charging circuit. Capacity listed is from product data — 3400mAh, 48.96Wh.
- Ozmo 900 series platform fit: The 900, 901, 905, and 930 all share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell works across the range because Ecovacs kept the power architecture consistent across these models.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on the Ozmo 930. The BMS accepted the charger handshake on the first connection, voltage held steady under full suction load, and the protection circuit triggered cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Dock charging discipline for the Ozmo platform: The Deebot auto-returns to its dock between cycles, which means the battery sits on trickle charge for hours at a time. Remove the unit from the dock after the charge indicator turns solid — leaving it docked continuously accelerates capacity fade on these cells faster than normal use cycles ever will.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Ozmo 900
This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws above its rated current to maintain suction, pulling the pack voltage down earlier than the indicator predicts. The BMS reads the voltage drop and throttles power to the motor before the fuel gauge registers a low state. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the root cause.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to pull current beyond the pack's protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets, power returns, and the cycle repeats. Check the brush roll for hair wrap and the filter for blockage before swapping the battery. If the motor runs cleanly with a clean filter and clear brush roll, verify pack voltage sits above 14.0V on a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Deebot Ozmo 930 stops cleaning partway through a room even though the app shows the battery isn't low — what's happening?
Partially blocked airflow forces the motor to draw more current than the pack's protection circuit allows, so the BMS cuts the output before the fuel gauge registers low. Check the filter and brush roll first — a clogged filter is the most common trigger. If clearing the blockage stops the mid-clean shutoff, the battery is not the problem. If it still cuts out on a clean filter, charge the pack fully and confirm resting voltage reads at least 16.4V off the charger.
The replacement battery charges fine but the Ozmo loses suction much faster than the original did at the start of its life — is the new cell already degraded?
A restricted filter is almost always the real cause. When airflow is reduced, the motor works harder to maintain suction, drawing more current and depleting the pack faster than the rated capacity predicts — it has nothing to do with the cell being weak. Remove, rinse, and fully dry the filter, then run a full clean cycle. If runtime improves noticeably, the filter was the load, not the battery.
My Ozmo 900 came off the dock this morning and the battery was already at 20% even though it was fully charged last night — why is it self-discharging on the dock?
The Deebot's onboard electronics draw a small standby current even when the unit is docked, and if the dock's charging contact is dirty or slightly misaligned, the trickle charge that should offset that draw never reaches the pack. Clean the charging contacts on both the dock and the robot with a dry cloth. If the battery holds charge overnight after cleaning the contacts, the connection was the fault — not the cell.
