Fits Yeedi K8, Vac 2 Pro, and YDVN11 robotic vacuums; replaces OEM battery CS-EDN900VX.
14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full motor power and cleaning runtime on each charge cycle.
Battery slides into the dock connector with a quarter-turn lock; verify the tab seats fully before charging.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage held steady under sustained motor load without cutoff.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity significantly faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yeedi K8 / Vac 2 Pro / YDVN11 — 14.4V Li-ion 2600mAh Replacement Battery

This 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery fits the Yeedi K8, Vac 2 Pro, and YDVN11 robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces the original cell pack when capacity has degraded and cleaning cycles are cutting short. Dimensions are 133.10 × 37.20 × 20.40mm — confirm against your existing pack before fitting.

  • K8, Vac 2 Pro, and YDVN11 compatibility: All three models run the same 14.4V architecture with an identical cell bay footprint and BMS connector pinout. The shared platform means one cell pack services the full model range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the K8 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the dock charger, accepted a full charge without fault, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage threshold before cell damage could occur.
  • Dock charging behaviour on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the K8 sitting on its dock permanently between uses. Continuous trickle charging through the dock accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion packs. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next cleaning session.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The K8's motor draws current in proportion to suction load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling more amps than the BMS is rated to sustain continuously. When current exceeds the pack's protection threshold, the BMS throttles output — the unit loses suction even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction performance.

Motor cutting out mid-cycle and then recovering on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty battery. Sustained restricted airflow — usually from a full dustbin or a clogged filter — spikes current draw beyond the pack's cutoff limit. The BMS shuts output to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Empty the dustbin, clear the filter, and confirm the brushroll is free of hair wrap before running another cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Yeedi K8 used to clean the whole floor on one charge but now it stops halfway — is the battery worn out or is something else wrong?

A blocked filter is the first thing to check — restricted airflow forces the motor to draw significantly more current than rated, draining the pack faster even when the cells are healthy. Remove and clean the filter, clear the brushroll, and empty the dustbin, then run a full cycle. If the issue persists after the filter is clear, the cell pack has likely lost capacity through charge cycling and needs replacing. A worn pack will sit noticeably below 14.4V at rest when measured with a multimeter.

The K8 docks and shows it's charging but the light never changes to fully charged — what's happening?

The dock charger expects a specific BMS handshake from the battery pack to progress through charge stages. If the BMS in the replacement cell doesn't respond correctly, the charger stalls in a holding state and never completes the charge. Verify the pack voltage at the terminals with a multimeter — it should read between 12.0V and 16.8V. If voltage is in range but charging won't complete, check that the dock contacts are clean and making firm contact with the robot's charge pins.

My K8 has been sitting on the dock plugged in for months and now the battery barely holds a charge — did I get a defective pack?

The pack is almost certainly not defective — continuous dock charging is the cause. Li-ion cells held at full charge under a constant trickle current develop capacity fade significantly faster than cells charged only when depleted. This is a usage pattern issue, not a manufacturing fault. Going forward, charge the K8 to full and remove it from the dock between cleaning sessions to slow further degradation.
