Fits ESIA Music Box; replaces OEM battery CS-HUC100SL for this portable audio device.
3.7V 1100mAh cell delivers full runtime on a single charge cycle for continuous music playback without mid-session dropout.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the housing for one-way insertion only.
We bench tested this cell on Music Box firmware v2.1 — BMS initialized cleanly on first insertion with zero fault codes during discharge profiling.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ESIA Music Box — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion cell for the ESIA Music Box portable audio device. It measures 54.70 × 34.33 × 7.10mm and matches the original cell's footprint and connector. Fit the replacement when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge through normal use.

  • Music Box power rail: The Music Box runs its audio amplifier and Bluetooth stack off a single 3.7V Li-ion cell. This replacement targets that same voltage rail. No adapter or connector modification is needed — the cell slots into the same bay with the same orientation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge-discharge sequence and monitored BMS cutoff at both the high-voltage ceiling (4.2V) and the low-voltage floor. The protection circuit tripped correctly at both limits with no thermal event.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, run one complete discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge fully without interruption. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before reporting percentage readings to the device.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a freshly installed cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. Under audio amplifier load, the new cell's terminal voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects — because the IC is still running a calibration curve from the old, degraded cell. The device interprets the voltage sag as a low-battery condition and shuts down before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a complete charge resets the coulomb counter and resolves the premature cutoff.

Device not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage — and the device will show no signs of life when you press the power button. Connect the Music Box to a charger and leave it for 15–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. Most BMS circuits recover once a small trickle current pushes the cell voltage back above the 2.5V threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ESIA Music Box powers off by itself around 25% battery — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC in the Music Box is still using the discharge curve it mapped against your old, degraded cell — so it misjudges how much voltage the new cell has left under amplifier load. When load pulls terminal voltage down sharply, the device hits its cutoff threshold before the counter reaches zero. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption, and the shutoff behaviour will correct itself.

The battery percentage on my Music Box jumps around erratically after fitting the replacement — skipping from 60% down to 30% in minutes.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap mean the fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against unfamiliar cell chemistry. The IC tracked charge and discharge on the original cell for months; the new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so early readings are unreliable. Complete two full discharge-to-shutoff and charge-to-full cycles without interrupting either — after that, the counter locks onto the new cell's curve and percentage readings stabilise.

The Music Box gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is this normal?

Some warmth on the first few charge cycles is expected. A new Li-ion cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, which means the charge IC dissipates a little more energy as heat during the constant-current phase. The warmth should reduce after the first three to five full charge cycles as internal impedance settles. If the device is hot to the touch — not just warm — disconnect it and check that the replacement cell dimensions match the original bay to rule out a compression fit issue.
