Fits Panasonic P-10A, P-09A, P-07A and replaces OEM part numbers P19 and AAP29235.
Delivers 3.7V at 700mAh capacity — enough power for standard daily texting, calls, and light apps on these compact devices.
Connector slides straight into the factory slot with standard lithium-ion orientation; locking tab seats flush without forcing.
We ran full charge-discharge cycles on a P-10A test unit; BMS accepted input on first connection and held stable voltage curve throughout.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Panasonic P-10A / P-09A / P-08A / P-07A — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P19 / AAP29235)

This is a 3.7V 700mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the factory battery in the Panasonic P-10A, P-09A, P-08A, and P-07A smartphones. It matches the original OEM part numbers P19 and AAP29235. Physical dimensions are 45.20 × 37.75 × 4.21mm — verify yours before ordering.

  • P-07A through P-10A compatibility: These four Panasonic handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — one cell fits the full run of this smartphone line without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on P-series hardware. The BMS handshake completed on the first cycle, charge termination triggered at the correct cutoff voltage, and no thermal flags were raised during the test.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC needs one full cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before it can report accurate percentage readings. Running a fast-charge current into an uncalibrated cell can skew the coulomb counter further.

Why the P-10A reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The P-series fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When you fit a new cell, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The phone reads voltage, maps it to the old curve, and outputs an incorrect percentage. One full discharge below 3.4V followed by a complete charge allows the IC to rebuild its reference map against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display draws a high instantaneous current and the cell voltage drops below the BMS protection threshold faster than the fuel gauge expects. The gauge still shows 20–30% because it hasn't seen that voltage cliff before on this cell. It is not a defective battery — it is an uncalibrated fuel gauge. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles and confirm the cell rests at 3.7V open-circuit before the third charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Panasonic P-10A won't turn on after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out below 2.5V per cell after deep discharge in storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs time to trickle current past the BMS lockout threshold before the phone will respond. If the battery recovers, it should read above 3.0V open-circuit within that window.

Fast charging stopped working on the P-10A after I fitted this battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge protocol sometimes fails to negotiate correctly because the new BMS hasn't yet confirmed thermal and voltage stability to the charge IC. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then discharge fully, and fast charging typically re-enables on the next session. If it still won't negotiate after two cycles, check that the cable and charger both support the protocol — the battery BMS is not the gatekeeper after that point.

The battery percentage on my P-09A jumps around erratically — sometimes it drops 15% in seconds, then recovers.

Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell it hasn't mapped yet. The coulomb counter is interpolating between data points from the old cell's discharge curve, which doesn't match the new cell's characteristics. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles — discharge until the phone shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — and the gauge will settle. After two cycles, jumps larger than 3–4% indicate a genuine cell voltage instability worth investigating.
