This is a 4.8V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Euro Pro Shark V1700Z and V1930 cordless handheld vacuums, including the X1725QN. It restores suction power when the original cell no longer holds a charge. Capacity and voltage match the factory specification exactly — no modification required.

• V1700Z, V1930 and X1725QN compatibility: These three models share the same 4.8V cell pack configuration, connector footprint, and charge termination behaviour. A single replacement cell fits all three without adapter or wiring changes.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the V1930 platform. The BMS held charge termination correctly and the cell pack reached 3000mAh capacity within the first two conditioning cycles.

Ni-MH cells under load show a voltage sag curve that steepens sharply when the cell is aged or the motor draws above its rated current. The result is a voltage drop at the cell terminals that the vacuum interprets as low power — suction falls off well before the indicator light warns you. Clear the filter and check the dust cup before concluding the battery is the fault; a clean airpath keeps draw within the 4.8V cell's rated output range.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the V1930's intake is restricted — a clogged filter, a blocked nozzle, or a full dust cup — the motor stalls slightly and draws a current spike that crosses the BMS cutoff threshold. The pack shuts output to protect the cell, then resets once current drops. The fix is not a new battery: check the filter first, clear any blockage, and retry. If the cutout disappears after cleaning the filter, the cell is functioning correctly.
