Fits Explay Celular models; replaces original 3.8V battery with SKU CS-HUT300XL.
Delivers 3.8V, 2300mAh—matches OEM capacity for standard call, messaging, and app runtime without voltage sag.
Connector seats flush into the Celular battery slot with standard lithium-ion contact alignment and locking tab engagement.
We ran this cell through full charge-discharge cycles on bench; BMS accepted voltage regulation without early cutoff or fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Explay Celular — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.8V, 2300mAh (8.74Wh) Li-ion cell is a direct swap for the Explay Celular smartphone. It fits the original battery bay and connects to the same charge IC and fuel gauge circuit the phone shipped with. Capacity figures come from product data — not third-party estimates.

  • Explay Celular platform fit: The Celular shares a standardised 3.8V single-cell architecture with a fixed connector pinout. The BMS on this cell matches that voltage rail and the charge termination voltage the phone's charge IC expects at full state.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the cell through a full discharge-charge sequence and confirmed the BMS held cutoff correctly at both low and high voltage thresholds. No false full-charge trips were observed during the first three cycles.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the Celular's fuel gauge IC one clean cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve before resuming normal use.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Explay Celular after a cell swap

A new cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC originally learned. When the phone pulls heavy current — mobile data, GPS, or screen-on — voltage can drop sharply at around 3.5V even though the percentage display reads higher. The phone's protection circuit interprets that voltage dip as a low-cell event and cuts power immediately. Running one full calibration cycle — full discharge to shutdown, full charge to 100% — lets the coulomb counter relearn the curve and prevents premature cutoffs.

Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells shipped in storage states can drop below 3.0V during transit or shelf time. The Celular's BMS locks out below approximately 2.5V per cell to prevent damage, which means a standard power button press does nothing. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC sees enough voltage to lift the BMS out of lockout, the phone will begin a normal boot sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Explay Celular shows 25% battery then shuts off instantly — is the new cell faulty?

It's not a faulty cell — it's the fuel gauge IC still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. When the phone draws heavy current at around 3.5V, voltage sags past the protection threshold even though the percentage reads higher, triggering an immediate cutoff. Run one full cycle: discharge the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter remaps to the new cell and the shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery in my Explay Celular — why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC and BMS go through a handshake that can default to standard 5V charging until the cell's internal resistance profile is established. This is normal behaviour — it's not a wiring fault or an incompatible cell. Charge the phone fully at standard rate, discharge it once, then reconnect. Fast charge protocol acceptance typically resumes from the second cycle onward once the BMS has logged a baseline charge event.

The battery percentage on my Explay Celular jumps around erratically after the swap — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated against the wear characteristics of the original cell. A new cell with different impedance throws those reference points off, causing the percentage display to jump. The fix is one uninterrupted full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a full charge to 100% — this resets the counter's baseline. After that single calibration cycle, percentage readings stabilise to within a few percent of actual state of charge.
