Fits Samsung GT-I1819, SM-G730, and related models replacing B450BU, B450BC, B450BE, B450BZ part numbers.
3.8V nominal, 2100mAh capacity delivers the original charge window for this midrange Samsung phone.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with no locking tab—push straight until it seats flush.
We ran three full discharge cycles on a GT-I1819 bench unit; the BMS accepted charge current without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung GT-I1819 / SM-G730 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B450BU)

This is a 3.8V, 2100mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung GT-I1819, SM-G730, SM-G730A, and SM-G3518, among other compatible models. It matches the original B450BU cell spec and fits the same physical cavity. Dimensions are 59.65 × 52.02 × 4.80mm.

  • GT-I1819 and SM-G730 series compatibility: These models share the same 3.8V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers the full SM-G730 lineup alongside the GT-I1819. Swapping within this group requires no adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an SM-G730A through charge, standby draw, and screen-on load. The BMS held stable voltage delivery across all three states and tripped no low-voltage cutoffs during discharge.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use after fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. The fuel gauge IC in this handset calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes percentage readings to drift immediately after installation.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SM-G730 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still mapped to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or screen load at a state-of-charge the gauge still reads as 20–30%. The phone interprets the voltage drop as a fault and shuts down before the gauge catches up. One full standard-rate discharge cycle down to automatic cutoff — then a full charge — resets the calibration baseline to the new cell.

Phone warm near the battery compartment on the first charge cycle

A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC pushes current into a cell that resists it more than usual, and that resistance converts to heat. This is normal during the first one or two charge cycles and reduces as impedance drops with use. If warmth persists past the third full charge, check that the charging port is clean and that the phone is not running background tasks during charging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my SM-G730 show 25% battery and then shut off without warning after I put in the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under load — typically from the modem or display — the phone hits its hardware cutoff before the gauge registers critical. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge fully at the standard rate without fast charging enabled. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my GT-I1819 — it only charges slowly now.

The proprietary charge protocol negotiation between the charge IC and a new BMS cell can fail on the first cycle. The phone falls back to standard current as a safety default. Complete one full charge at the slow rate, unplug, then reconnect — most units re-negotiate the fast charge handshake on the second cycle once the BMS has an initial charge event logged.

My phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks before I installed it.

If the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V in storage, the BMS trips a lockout to prevent charging a critically depleted cell. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will boot and charge normally.
