Replaces Fujitsu Loox 600 battery part numbers H50B and SX042 for full device restoration.
This 3.7V, 2700mAh Li-Polymer cell restores runtime to the Loox 600 handheld — capacity matches OEM spec for standard daily operation.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with positive and negative contacts aligned; no locking tab, straight insertion fit.
We bench-tested the cell in a Loox 600 boot sequence — BMS accepted the pack on first connection, no fault codes logged.
Perform a full data sync to the host computer before removing the battery — the Loox 600 stores open files and application state in RAM powered by this cell, and removing the pack without syncing causes data loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu Loox 600 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (H50B)

This 3.7V, 2700mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Fujitsu Loox 600 handheld PDA. The Loox 600 is a Pocket PC device from the early 2000s, and original batteries on these units are well past their cycle life. This replacement restores full power to the device so you can run applications, access stored data, and keep the unit operational.

  • Loox 600 fit: The Loox 600 uses a slim 3.7V Li-Polymer cell with a specific connector and form factor tied to its compact chassis. This cell matches the H50B and SX042 OEM part numbers, fitting the original battery bay without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through this cell and confirmed the BMS holds within the expected voltage window. The protection circuit trips correctly at low-voltage cutoff and resets cleanly on charger reconnection.
  • RAM and data protection before swap: Sync all open data to a host computer before removing the battery. The Loox 600 stores active application state and unsaved data in SRAM, which is powered by the main battery. A full power cut without syncing first wipes whatever is held in volatile memory.

Why the Loox 600 won't boot after a new battery is installed

A freshly shipped Li-Polymer cell arrives partially discharged — often below 3.4V. The Loox 600 boot sequence requires a minimum voltage threshold to initialise the processor and load the OS from flash. If the cell is too low, the device may show nothing on screen or flash the power LED and shut back down. Connect the PDA to its cradle or AC adapter and charge the new battery to at least 3.7V before attempting the first boot.

Wireless sync dropping or failing after battery replacement

The Loox 600's wireless radio draws a concentrated burst of current during sync handshake. If the replacement battery is not fully charged, voltage can sag under that load and the radio drops the connection mid-transfer. This is not a pairing or software fault — it is a voltage problem. Charge the battery fully to 4.2V, then retry the sync before assuming a radio or driver issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost all my contacts and calendar data after swapping the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it is a known behaviour of the Loox 600. Active data in RAM — contacts, calendar entries, open app state — is held in SRAM that draws power directly from the main battery. When the battery is removed, that memory loses power and wipes instantly. Always perform a full ActiveSync or backup to a host PC before pulling the old cell, and restore from that backup after the new battery is charged.

My Loox 600 scans through the day faster than expected after fitting the new battery — why is the charge dropping so quickly?

The barcode scanner LED and wireless radio on handheld PDAs draw significantly more current than standby use alone. In active scanning environments, the real-world load on a 2700mAh cell is several times higher than idle figures suggest. Reduce wireless polling intervals if your software allows it, and check that the battery is reaching a full 4.2V charge before each shift — a partial charge compresses usable capacity before the first scan is taken.

The Loox 600 keeps resetting to factory defaults every few days even with the new battery fitted — what's causing it?

This points to a voltage dip deep enough to trigger a full SRAM wipe without a complete power-off event. It can happen if the battery connection is intermittent or if the cell is discharging to the BMS cutoff threshold during low-activity periods. Check that the battery connector is seated firmly in the bay with no movement. If the resets continue, monitor the battery voltage under load — if it drops below 3.2V during normal use, the cell is not maintaining adequate headroom and should be exchanged.
