Fits Gigabyte gSmart G300 and gSmart i350, replacing OEM battery GLS-H01.
This 3.7V, 1370mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full operational capacity to aging devices.
Connector mates directly to the phone's internal JST socket with single-tab locking orientation.
We bench-tested the BMS on a G300 unit—fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Gigabyte gSmart G300 / i350 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GLS-H01)

This 3.7V, 1370mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the OEM battery in the Gigabyte gSmart G300 and gSmart i350 smartphones. It carries OEM part numbers GLS-H01 and A2K40-EJ3030-Z0R. Capacity figure comes from product data — 5.07Wh total energy.

  • gSmart G300 and i350 fitment: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both. Physical dimensions are 64.23 × 39.43 × 6.20mm — measure your bay if the original was swollen before removal.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the gSmart platform and confirmed BMS communication holds across the full state-of-charge range. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold without triggering a false shutdown at mid-charge levels.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after fitting this cell. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Running one slow cycle lets it map the new cell's characteristics before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the gSmart G300 after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve compared to the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was trained on. Under modem transmit bursts or screen-on load, the phone sees a voltage sag that the IC misreads as a critically low state. The hardware protection circuit cuts power before the OS can act. One full slow discharge down to auto-off, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter and corrects the curve mapping.

gSmart G300 showing erratic or frozen battery percentage after replacement

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model in non-volatile memory — that model reflects the old cell's internal resistance and capacity, not the new one. Until the IC collects enough data from the replacement cell, it interpolates badly and percentage readouts jump or stall. This is not a fault with the cell itself. Run two full charge-discharge cycles without interruption and the percentage display stabilises around the 3.7V nominal midpoint.

Frequently Asked Questions

My gSmart G300 powers off suddenly at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the G300 is still using the discharge curve it learned from your old, degraded cell. Under load — screen-on, active data — the new cell's voltage sags in a pattern the IC misreads as critically low, triggering a hardware cutoff. Run one complete slow discharge to auto-off and charge back to 100% without interruption. That resets the coulomb counter and the shutdowns stop.

The gSmart G300 gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

Yes, and it is specific to the first few cycles on a new high-impedance cell. A fresh Li-Polymer cell has higher internal resistance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat as it pushes current in during the constant-current phase. Warmth — not hot — is normal. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charge IC throttles back and charging slows dramatically, check that the back cover is fully seated and not trapping heat against the cell.

The gSmart G300 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for several months — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent cell damage and will refuse a normal charge. Connect the phone to a low-current USB source — a standard 5V 500mA port, not a fast charger — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The BMS trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold, after which a normal charge cycle proceeds and the phone powers on.
