Fits GIONEE GN100 smartphone and replaces OEM battery part number BL-G011.
3.7V and 1280mAh capacity restore full charge cycles to the GN100 after the original cell degrades.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a small locking tab on the right edge.
We bench-tested this cell in a GN100 test unit — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and fuel gauge began tracking discharge curve.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GIONEE GN100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL-G011)

This is a 3.7V, 1280mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the GIONEE GN100 smartphone. It carries OEM part number BL-G011 and matches the original cell's physical dimensions at 64.40 × 43.40 × 4.60mm. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a full charge or the phone shuts down unexpectedly.

  • GN100 fitment: The BL-G011 cell uses a connector and contact layout specific to the GN100 chassis. The BMS on this platform communicates charge state directly to the fuel gauge IC, so physical and electrical compatibility must match — a generic 3.7V cell without the correct BMS profile will cause erratic percentage readings or charge refusal.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge on the GN100 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge without dropout across the full curve.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell — skipping it causes the coulomb counter to inherit the old cell's degraded profile, producing inaccurate percentage readings from day one.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the GN100 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop near the low end, so the phone hits the hardware undervoltage cutoff before the OS percentage reaches zero. The modem and display together can pull enough current to cause a rapid voltage sag below the cutoff threshold — even when the gauge still shows charge remaining. Run one full discharge cycle without fast charging to let the coulomb counter reset against the new cell's actual voltage curve.

Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled one. The charge IC on the GN100 pushes current at the same rate it used with the broken-in original, which generates more heat across the higher resistance of the fresh cell. This is a temporary condition — impedance drops after two or three full cycles as the cell's electrolyte and electrode interfaces settle. If warmth continues beyond the third charge cycle or the phone becomes hot to the touch, check that the battery connector is fully seated and not arcing at the contact points.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GIONEE GN100 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, which triggers a BMS lockout to prevent cell damage. The BMS will not pass current to the phone until the cell voltage is recovered above the lockout threshold. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. If the charge IC detects enough voltage to exit lockout, the boot screen will appear; if nothing shows after 45 minutes on a wall charger, the cell may need pre-charge conditioning with a dedicated Li-ion charger set to 3.0V recovery mode.

The battery percentage on my GN100 jumps around erratically — goes from 60% to 35% in a few minutes then back up again.

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped from the old, degraded cell. When you swap in a new cell, the coulomb counter has no accurate reference for the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship, so it misreports state-of-charge as voltage drops under load. Run one complete discharge — use the phone normally until it shuts itself off — then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single full cycle, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working on my GN100 after I fitted the new BL-G011 — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can default to a conservative constant-current profile while it verifies the new cell's BMS handshake. Some GN100 units also reset the charging protocol negotiation when the battery is disconnected, dropping back to standard 5V input until a full cycle completes. Let the phone complete one full charge at the slow rate without interrupting it. After that cycle, re-enable fast charging in the settings — the charge IC will renegotiate the protocol against the now-recognised cell and restore higher current input.
