Fits Gionee GN5002 and M5 enjoy smartphones, replacing OEM battery BL-N5000C.
3.8V and 5000mAh capacity sustains the phone's modem and display load without voltage sag.
Connector slides into the existing battery slot with no modification to locking tabs required.
We bench tested the BMS on a GN5002 platform — cell accepted charge current cleanly, no early cutoff.
On first cycle after installation, run one complete discharge without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GIONEE GN5002 / M5 Enjoy — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BL-N5000C)

This is a 3.8V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the GIONEE GN5002 and M5 Enjoy smartphones. It replaces OEM part number BL-N5000C and restores power to phones where the original cell has degraded or failed. Capacity is 5000mAh (19Wh) — identical to the factory specification.

  • GN5002 and M5 Enjoy fitment: Both devices run the same 3.8V battery rail, share the same physical footprint (93.10 × 63.30 × 4.80 mm), and use the same BL-N5000C connector and BMS handshake. One cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, discharge, and modem-load draw on the GN5002. The BMS held stable voltage across the full discharge curve with no mid-cycle cutoff or over-temperature trip.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the GN5002 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop near the end of discharge — the phone's power IC sees the voltage fall below its cutoff threshold before the reported percentage catches up. It reads 25% but the actual cell voltage has already crossed the shutdown floor. One full slow-charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to resync against the new curve and eliminates the premature cutoff.

USB fast charge not activating after replacement on the M5 Enjoy

On first connection after a cell swap, the charge IC may not negotiate the fast-charge protocol because the BMS on the new cell starts in a conservative initialisation state. This is not a fault — it resolves after the first complete charge cycle at standard current. Plug into a standard 5V/1A charger, let it charge fully to 100%, then disconnect. Fast charge negotiation should resume normally on the next session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my GIONEE GN5002 show a different battery percentage than expected after fitting the new BL-N5000C cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the GN5002 stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell and applies it to the new one immediately after swap. Until it recalibrates, percentage readings can be off by 10–20%. Run one full discharge — screen on, no charging — until the phone shuts off from low voltage, then charge uninterrupted to 100% on a standard charger. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.

The GN5002 gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes current into more resistance during the first few cycles. This generates more heat than you'll see long-term. Keep the phone out of a case for the first two or three charges and charge on a flat surface. If warmth persists beyond the third full cycle or the phone becomes hot to the touch, check that the replacement cell connector is fully seated — a partial connection raises contact resistance further.

My GN5002 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for several weeks — what's wrong?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent charging a dangerously depleted cell. The phone will show nothing — no boot screen, no charging indicator. Connect it to a wall charger (not a PC port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 3.0V, after which normal charging and boot will resume.
