Fits GIONEE S6 Pro smartphone, replacing OEM battery part number BL-N3130.
3.85V nominal voltage with 3100mAh capacity sustains processor, display, and modem draw across talk time and standby.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab at the top edge—align before pressing down.
Bench tested the BMS on first charge in an S6 Pro unit; fuel gauge IC accepted the cell voltage curve without fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled—this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GIONEE S6 Pro — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BL-N3130)

This is a 3100mAh Li-Polymer cell at 3.85V nominal, built to replace the original BL-N3130 in the GIONEE S6 Pro, Elife S6 Pro, Elife S6 Pro Dual SIM TD-LTE IN, and GN9012. It restores full operating capacity to a phone that's shutting down early, charging slowly, or holding a fraction of its original charge. Voltage, dimensions, and connector position match the OEM spec at 83.30 x 62.70 x 3.40 mm.

  • S6 Pro and GN9012 compatibility: These models share the same BL-N3130 footprint, voltage rail, and BMS handshake protocol, so one cell covers the full range without adapter or wiring changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a GN9012 unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without lockout, balancing kicked in correctly on the first full charge, and the protection circuit triggered at the expected cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes load into an uncalibrated counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the S6 Pro after a cell swap

The S6 Pro's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under modem or display load, the phone interprets that voltage cliff as an immediate low-battery condition and cuts power. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. It is the coulomb counter reacting to a mismatch between its stored data and the new cell's actual behaviour. One full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the reference curve.

USB fast charge not triggering on the first cycle after replacement

On the first cycle, the charge IC on the S6 Pro may default to standard 5V input rather than negotiating the higher voltage fast-charge protocol with an uncalibrated cell. This is a conservative BMS behaviour — it limits inbound current until the cell's internal resistance profile is established. Charge once at standard rate using the OEM cable. Fast charging typically re-engages automatically from the second cycle onward once the BMS has logged a baseline charge event.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GIONEE S6 Pro won't turn on after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out below the 2.5V per-cell recovery threshold after deep discharge in storage. Connect the phone to the OEM charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs above the BMS re-enable point. If the screen shows no charge indicator at all after 30 minutes, try a different cable before assuming cell failure.

The battery percentage on my S6 Pro jumps around erratically after the swap — sometimes gaining 5% without charging.

The fuel gauge IC is still running calculations against the old cell's stored discharge curve, so reported percentage and actual cell voltage are out of sync. This is a coulomb counter calibration issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one uninterrupted full discharge — let the phone shut itself off — then charge to 100% without interruption. The IC rewrites its reference curve at the end of that cycle and percentage readings stabilise.

The S6 Pro gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after I installed the new cell — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth on the first two or three charges is normal. A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during the constant-current phase. If the phone stays warm to the touch throughout the full charge and the warmth persists beyond the third cycle, check that the replacement cell is seated flat with no pressure on the connector. Normal operating temperature should settle by the fourth charge cycle.
