GoodBaby UU24 / UU24RX — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the GoodBaby UU24 and UU24RX baby monitor parent units. It restores power to the parent unit so the wireless audio and video link between parent and baby room stays functional. Voltage and capacity match the original spec exactly.

• UU24 and UU24RX parent unit fit: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions and 3.7V power rail. The slim Li-Polymer cell — 52.80 × 34.00 × 5.40mm — slots into the same housing with no modification needed.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on a 3.7V Li-Polymer platform. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and resumed normal charging from a USB source without fault.

Running the UU24 parent unit overnight with the screen active is a sustained draw on a 1000mAh cell. The display backlight and radio transmitter run simultaneously during night-time monitoring. Night vision stops working after a battery replacement

The infrared LEDs on the camera unit require a stable voltage above the minimum operating threshold to activate. If the parent unit battery is low after fitting, the radio link can appear active while IR output stays off. Charge the parent unit fully before first use after a battery swap — the IR system should activate once the unit reaches a stable charge state above 3.9V.
