Fits Highscreen Thor and B2000A models, replacing OEM part TBT9780A1.
This cell delivers 3.8V and 2000mAh capacity to restore full charge cycles on the Thor smartphone.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot with no modification required.
We bench-tested the pack through five full cycles; the BMS accepted standard USB charging without negotiation errors.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Highscreen Thor / B2000A — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TBT9780A1)

This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Highscreen Thor and B2000A smartphones. It fits directly in place of the original TBT9780A1 cell. Use it when your existing battery no longer holds a charge through a normal day.

  • Thor and B2000A compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions and BMS handshake protocol. The TBT9780A1 part number spans both, so the same cell works in either chassis without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on this cell and confirmed the BMS communicated correctly with the phone's fuel gauge IC. Cell voltage held stable across load steps, and the protection circuit tripped at the correct cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated pack.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Highscreen Thor after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. Under peak load — modem transmission, screen brightness spike, or a GPS fix — the new cell momentarily drops below the SoC threshold the phone uses to trigger an emergency shutdown. The fuel gauge IC is still reading from the old cell's discharge curve, so the percentage shown is inaccurate. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate re-anchors the coulomb counter to the actual cell chemistry, and the shutdowns stop.

Highscreen Thor not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge over time. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to a power press. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it untouched for 15–20 minutes. The charger's trickle-charge current will bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes. If the charge LED does not activate within 30 minutes, the cell has likely dropped below the recovery floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Highscreen Thor showing the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from your old, degraded cell. The new TBT9780A1 cell has a different impedance profile, so the coulomb counter's reference is off. Run one full discharge — use the phone until it shuts itself down — then charge to 100% at standard rate with fast charging disabled. After that single cycle the fuel gauge recalibrates and the percentage readout tracks correctly.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the Highscreen Thor after replacing the battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the hardware. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately handshake with the phone's charge IC for high-current delivery. The phone falls back to standard charge rate as a precaution. Discharge the battery fully, then charge to 100% at standard rate once. After that initial cycle, the BMS and charge IC negotiate the fast charge protocol correctly on subsequent charges.

The Highscreen Thor feels warm near the battery area during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

It is expected behaviour on the first two to three charging cycles. A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat while pushing current into it. The warmth should reduce noticeably by the third full charge cycle as impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charge IC throttles back after cycle three, check that the battery connector is fully seated and not arcing resistance at the contact points.
