Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Honor View 30 Pro — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB446589ECW)
This 3.85V, 4000mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original HB446589ECW battery in the Huawei Honor View 30 Pro and Honor View 30 Pro 5G (OXF-N29, OXF-AL10). It fits the same footprint at 86.90 × 63.85 × 4.18mm and connects to the same charge IC and fuel gauge circuit. Capacity matches OEM specification at 15.4Wh.
- View 30 Pro and 5G variant fitment: Both the standard and 5G variants of the Honor View 30 Pro share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all listed model numbers including OXF-N29 and OXF-AL10.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a View 30 Pro unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, the charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases correctly, and the fuel gauge held a stable state-of-charge reading across the full discharge curve.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable Huawei SuperCharge for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes amperage into an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Honor View 30 Pro reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The fuel gauge IC on the View 30 Pro uses a stored discharge curve from the original cell to estimate state of charge. After a cell replacement, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity profile. The result is percentage readings that lag reality — often showing higher than actual charge until the IC recalibrates. One full discharge to auto-off followed by a complete charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and brings the gauge back in line.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from a degraded original cell that had a steep voltage cliff near end-of-charge. The new cell has a different voltage floor, but the system cuts power based on the old threshold map. Under modem load or screen-on draw, the device hits the programmed cutoff voltage before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge-charge cycle with SuperCharge disabled — the IC relearns the cutoff point against the new cell and the premature shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Huawei SuperCharge isn't working after I replaced the battery — it just charges slowly like a regular charger
The SuperCharge handshake requires the charge IC to recognise the new cell's internal resistance profile before it permits high-current charging. On first connection after a swap, the IC defaults to standard 5V charging as a protective measure. Run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard speed — on the second cycle, connect the original SuperCharge adapter and the protocol should re-engage. If it doesn't, check that the battery connector is fully seated, since a partial connection raises apparent impedance and keeps the IC in slow-charge mode.
My Honor View 30 Pro won't turn on at all after the replacement battery was sitting in a drawer for a few months before I installed it
Li-Polymer cells lose charge in storage, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V per cell the BMS trips into lockout to prevent further discharge damage. The phone will show no response — no logo, no charge indicator. Connect the original SuperCharge cable and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC runs a trickle pre-charge cycle to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 3.0V. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, let it charge fully before first boot.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges after the swap — is something wrong?
A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during the initial constant-current phase. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell's impedance settles. If the warmth is concentrated at the battery connector rather than spread across the back panel, reseat the connector — a loose pin increases contact resistance and generates localised heat. After three full cycles, surface temperature during charging should return to the level you saw with the original battery.
