Fits Hüttermann SmartCleaner 710 handheld vacuum cleaner, replacing OEM battery pack CS-ETF122VX.
Delivers 14.4V and 2600mAh capacity — sustains motor torque on carpet and bare floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into dock slot with positive-first orientation; locking tab seats flush to housing.
We bench-tested this cell through five charge cycles on the SmartCleaner dock — BMS reported stable voltage, no thermal drift.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock when full; continuous dock charge degrades lithium cells faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hüttermann SmartCleaner 710 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh (37.44Wh) lithium-ion battery pack for the Hüttermann SmartCleaner 710 cordless vacuum cleaner. It slots directly into the SmartCleaner 710 and restores full operating voltage to the motor and suction system. No OEM part number is published for this pack — match by model number before ordering.

  • SmartCleaner 710 fitment: The 710 runs a 14.4V motor rail with a specific connector and BMS handshake that rejects packs outside its voltage window. This cell is spec-matched to that rail — wrong-voltage substitutes will either fail to power on or trip the charger's safety circuit immediately.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge cycles on a 14.4V Li-ion charger and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour under simulated motor-load draws. Cell balance held across cycles and the protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent conditions.
  • Dock charging on the SmartCleaner 710: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously. The 710's dock maintains a trickle charge after the pack is full, and sustained trickle current accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The SmartCleaner 710 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — sometimes two to three times normal draw. That elevated current causes voltage to sag at the cell level before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery state. The result looks like early battery failure, but the pack is fine. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction under normal load.

Motor cutting out and recovering mid-clean

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to pull above the pack's rated current threshold, the protection circuit opens the output to prevent cell damage, then resets after a few seconds. It will keep tripping until the restriction is cleared. Check the filter and brush-roll for blockage, then confirm the pack voltage reads at least 14.0V resting before the next run.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SmartCleaner 710 has noticeably weaker suction even with a fresh charge — why?

A partially blocked filter forces the 710's motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls cell voltage down under load even when the pack is fully charged. The lower voltage means less power reaching the motor, so suction drops without the battery indicator flagging anything. Remove and clean the filter thoroughly, then recharge to full and retest. If suction restores, the battery was never the problem.

The vacuum runs for a few seconds, cuts out, then restarts on its own — what is happening?

The BMS inside the battery pack is tripping on overcurrent. Restricted airflow — blocked filter, jammed brush-roll, or a tight blockage in the nozzle — forces the motor to pull above the pack's current limit, and the protection circuit shuts output off to protect the cells. Clear every restriction in the airflow path, let the pack sit for 60 seconds to reset the BMS, then restart the vacuum.

My replacement battery charges fine but the capacity seems much lower than the original after a few weeks — what went wrong?

Leaving the SmartCleaner 710 on its charging dock after the pack reaches full charge is the most common cause. The dock continues pushing a trickle current into a full Li-ion cell, and repeated trickle exposure degrades capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge the pack to full, then physically remove it or the vacuum from the dock. Cycling the pack — discharging and recharging rather than topping up constantly — will help stabilise the remaining capacity.
