Fits Iloa 95, 350, 352, and 480 cordless phone handsets with original 3.6V Ni-MH pack.
Voltage 3.6V, capacity 300mAh — standard output for DECT handset runtime on single charge cycles.
Connector slides into handset battery slot; positive terminal faces toward release latch for secure seating.
We bench-tested the cell on a base charger simulator; BMS voltage climbed steadily without early cutoff.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Iloa 95 / 350 / 352 / 480 Series — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 300mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for the Iloa 95, 350, 352, and 480 cordless phone handsets. It replaces the original internal pack when talk time has dropped or the handset no longer holds a charge. Dimensions are 30.00 × 32.00 × 10.50mm — confirm your existing pack matches before ordering.

  • Cross-model fit — 95, 350, 352, 480: These four handset models share the same battery footprint, connector orientation, and 3.6V cell stack. Swapping between them does not change the pack specification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a NiMH-compatible test rig. The cell voltage held within spec across all cycles, and there were no BMS rejection events during the charge acceptance window.
  • First-charge protocol for NiMH handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base station and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells ship in a partially discharged state — a slow initial charge is what brings them to rated capacity. Pulling the handset off the base after a quick charge will give you a fraction of what this pack can actually deliver.

Why talk time stays short for the first few cycles after a battery swap

NiMH cells do not reach full capacity on the first charge cycle. It typically takes three to five full charge-and-discharge cycles before the pack delivers its rated 300mAh. This is a chemistry characteristic, not a defect. If talk time is still noticeably short after five complete cycles, check that the handset is making solid contact with the base charging pins.

Base station shows no charge light after new pack installed

NiMH packs can drop to a low resting voltage during storage — sometimes low enough that the base station's charge controller does not recognise a valid battery on the first seating. Remove the handset from the base, wait ten seconds, and reseat it firmly. If the charge indicator still does not activate, check that the handset contacts and base pins are clean and free of oxidation. A quick wipe with a dry cloth on both contact points resolves this in most cases. The base should show a charge light once the pack voltage reads above approximately 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Iloa cordless phone lost its pairing with the base after I replaced the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset, which clears the pairing memory on some DECT phones. The fix is to re-register the handset to the base manually. On most Iloa models, this means pressing and holding the paging or find button on the base while initiating a register search from the handset menu. Check the handset screen for a "register" or "subscribe" option — selecting it while the base is in pairing mode re-establishes the link.

The handset battery is nearly flat every morning even though I left it in the base overnight — what's draining it?

This points to an incomplete electrical connection between the handset and the base charging pins rather than a battery fault. If the handset is not seated at the correct angle, the pins make intermittent contact and the pack never actually charges. Remove the handset, inspect the gold contact strips on both the handset and base for debris or corrosion, and reseat the handset until you hear or feel it click into position. The charge indicator light should illuminate steadily — if it flickers, the seating is not secure.

My Iloa handset loses range and audio cuts out near the edges of the house — could the new battery be causing this?

Yes — a NiMH pack that has not completed its conditioning cycles will sag in voltage under the RF transmit load. The handset's DECT radio draws a short burst of higher current each time it transmits, and an under-conditioned pack cannot hold voltage through that burst. Run three to five full charge-discharge cycles to bring the pack to rated capacity. After conditioning, the transmit voltage should stay above 3.2V under load, which is enough to maintain stable range at normal DECT distances.
