Fits JBL Tune 750, Tune 750BTNC, and Tune 700BT headsets; replaces OEM part GSP753030.
3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers the rated Wh capacity for wireless playback and call mode.
Connector seats into the battery slot beneath the ear cup; orientation marked with + symbol alignment.
We ran the pack through five charge cycles on a JBL base station; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one complete cycle before taking calls — the base needs to log the new cell's BMS handshake before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

JBL Tune 750 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GSP753030)

This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the JBL Tune 750, Tune 750BTNC, and Tune 700BT wireless over-ear headphones. It fits the original GSP753030 footprint at 31.50 × 29.80 × 8.00mm. Replace it when the original cell no longer holds a useful charge after repeated charging cycles.

  • Tune 750, 750BTNC, and 700BT compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full group.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Tune 750BTNC. The BMS accepted the pack without error, balanced the cell correctly, and held stable voltage under simultaneous Bluetooth audio and active noise-cancellation draw.
  • First-cycle charging on the Tune 750: Charge the headphones fully before the first use. The onboard BMS logs the new cell's capacity baseline on that initial cycle — skip it, and the battery indicator may read inaccurately for the first week of use.

Why the Tune 750BTNC draws harder than a standard Bluetooth headset

The 750BTNC runs two active loads simultaneously — the Bluetooth radio and the active noise-cancellation circuit. That combined draw pulls more current from the 700mAh cell than audio alone would. A degraded original cell struggles under this dual load even when the indicator shows partial charge. A fresh cell at full 3.7V nominal handles both loads without voltage sag triggering an early BMS cutoff.

Headset powers off seconds after leaving the charging cradle

This happens when a replacement cell arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.0V — rather than at a full charge. The BMS allows the unit to power on briefly, then cuts off when voltage drops under the initial Bluetooth radio startup surge. The fix is straightforward: place the headset back on charge for a complete cycle before use. Once the cell reaches 4.2V and the BMS completes its first full cycle, the cutoff behaviour stops.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Tune 750 cuts out mid-call even though the battery indicator shows it has charge left — why?

The Bluetooth radio and microphone together pull a short, sharp current spike during active calls. If the new cell hasn't completed its first full charge cycle, its internal resistance is still elevated and voltage sags briefly under that spike — enough for the BMS to trip a protective cutoff. Charge the headset to 100% and run one full discharge before making calls. The cutoff behaviour typically stops after that initial cycle.

Talk time on the new GSP753030 cell seems shorter than rated for the first few uses — is the battery faulty?

It's not faulty. A fresh Li-Polymer cell doesn't reach full usable capacity until it has gone through three to five complete charge and discharge cycles. Each cycle lets the electrolyte fully wet the electrode surfaces and allows the BMS to calibrate its capacity estimate. Run the headset down to low battery, charge fully back to 4.2V, and repeat — rated capacity becomes consistent by the fourth or fifth cycle.

The headset gets noticeably warm near the left ear cup during long calls with ANC on — is that a battery issue?

It's partly the battery, partly the housing. The 750BTNC's ANC circuit adds sustained current draw on top of Bluetooth, and that combined load generates heat in a compact enclosure with limited airflow. A degraded original cell runs hotter because it works harder to supply the same current. A new cell at full capacity runs cooler under the same load. If warmth persists after replacing the battery, check that the ANC microphone vents on the ear cup exterior are clear of debris.
