Fits Turtle Beach Stealth 700 2Gen wireless headset, replaces OEM part FT453536P.
3.7V, 500mAh lithium-polymer cell powers cordless gaming audio and DECT radio transmission together.
Connector slides into the battery compartment with a single locking tab on the headset base.
We bench-tested the BMS on five full charge cycles — no fault codes, voltage regulation stable under combined audio-plus-radio draw.
On first use, charge the headset in its base station for one complete cycle before taking a call — the base needs to log the new cell before talk-time estimates register correctly.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 2Gen — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FT453536P)

This is a 3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 2nd Generation wireless gaming headset. It replaces part number FT453536P and restores wireless audio and communication when the original cell can no longer hold a charge. Physical dimensions are 37.50 × 33.80 × 4.00mm — verify these against your existing cell before fitting.

  • Stealth 700 2Gen fit: The 2nd Gen shares a distinct connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol with the base station that differs from the original Stealth 700. This cell is matched to the 2Gen specifically — the voltage rail, connector, and cell geometry are not interchangeable with the first-generation pack.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on the Stealth 700 2Gen base station. The BMS completed handshake on the first dock, accepted a full charge without fault codes, and the headset powered on normally under combined audio and radio draw.
  • First-cycle base station log: Dock the headset in the base station for a complete charge cycle before use. The base station needs to log the new cell before its talk-time estimate is accurate — skipping this step produces misleading charge indicators for the first few sessions.

Why the Stealth 700 2Gen cuts out mid-session on a new battery

The headset runs two simultaneous loads — the wireless radio and the audio amplifier — from a single 500mAh cell in a compact housing. Under combined draw, if the cell has not completed its first full charge cycle, voltage sags briefly below the BMS cutoff threshold. The firmware then shuts the headset down as a protection event, not a dead battery. One complete dock charge cycle before first use eliminates most of these mid-session dropouts.

Base station showing full charge but headset shuts off after a few minutes

A replacement cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — not at full charge. The base station indicator can read this as "charged" before the cell has actually reached 4.2V. The headset then draws down the remaining shallow capacity quickly and cuts out. Dock the headset for a full uninterrupted charge cycle until the base indicator confirms completion, then check that open-circuit voltage at the cell reads 4.1–4.2V before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Stealth 700 2Gen keeps cutting out mid-game even with a new battery — what's causing it?

Combined wireless radio and audio amplifier draw can spike beyond what the BMS allows if the cell hasn't completed a proper first charge. The firmware triggers a protection shutdown — it looks like a dead battery but it's a voltage sag event. Dock the headset for a full uninterrupted charge cycle in the base station before your next session. If dropouts continue after two full cycles, check that the cell connector is fully seated.

The base station won't recognise the new pack — it flashes an error instead of a solid charge light.

The Stealth 700 2Gen base station runs a BMS handshake when a new cell is docked — if the cell voltage is too low or the connector isn't fully latched, the base rejects the pack and throws a charge error. Remove the headset, reseat the battery connector firmly, and re-dock. If the error persists, hold the headset power button for 10 seconds to reset the firmware, then dock again.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than rated for the first few sessions — is the battery faulty?

Li-Polymer cells don't hit rated capacity on the first charge cycle. Capacity builds over three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the electrolyte fully wets the electrode surfaces. We see this consistently on the bench — cells measure below rated capacity on cycle one and reach spec by cycle four or five. Run three complete charge-and-use cycles before drawing any conclusions about whether the cell is performing correctly.
