This is a 3.7V 900mAh lithium-ion cell for the KAZAM Life B2 and Life C5 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers KAC5, KALB2, KAC5-HELBE0003594, and KALB2-MXDB01351. Fit this battery when the original cell no longer holds charge through a normal day of calls and messaging.

• Life B2 and Life C5 shared battery platform: Both handsets run the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, so one cell covers both models without modification.

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. The KAZAM Life B2's modem and display draw a combined current spike that the new cell's internal resistance cannot sustain at lower state-of-charge. Voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — typically around 3.0V per cell — before the fuel gauge reads zero. Run one full discharge to true flat and recharge completely; this recalibrates the coulomb counter against the actual discharge curve and moves the shutdown point back below 5%.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. A new cell with a fresh discharge profile does not match that stored curve, so the reported percentage drifts — often reading 15–20% higher than actual charge state. The fix is a single full calibration cycle: drain the phone until it shuts off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. After that cycle, the fuel gauge IC rewrites its reference curve to match the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.
