Fits KAZAM Thunder 350L with OEM part number TH305L or TH305L-XDFBH0000176.
3.8V and 2000mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this smartphone after degraded battery.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench tested this cell on Thunder 350L charging hardware — BMS accepted full charge voltage without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before USB-PD pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

KAZAM Thunder 350L — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TH305L)

This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion battery for the KAZAM Thunder 350L smartphone. It replaces part number TH305L when the original cell has degraded, lost capacity, or failed outright. Voltage and physical dimensions match the original: 76.66 × 60.95 × 3.85mm.

  • Thunder 350L fit: The Thunder 350L uses a removable 3.8V single-cell Li-ion pack on a connector that matches this cell exactly. The BMS embedded in the pack communicates charge state back to the phone's fuel gauge IC — a mismatch here causes erratic percentage readings and early shutdowns.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench, monitoring BMS handshake, cutoff voltages, and charge acceptance. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and released cleanly on reconnection at normal charge.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Thunder 350L reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Thunder 350L tracks charge state using a fuel gauge IC that learns the cell's discharge curve over time. When you install a new cell, the IC is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance and voltage profile. Until it recalibrates, the displayed percentage drifts — often reading 20–30% higher or lower than the actual state of charge. One full slow-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and brings the percentage back in line.

Sudden shutdown at 20–25% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem, screen, or both pull a brief high-current spike that the cell cannot sustain without the voltage sagging below the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone interprets this as a dead cell and shuts down, even though the percentage indicator still shows charge remaining. It is most common in the first few cycles on a new cell before the BMS and fuel gauge IC have aligned their voltage references. Charge to 100% and discharge fully twice — after that, the cutoff threshold and the displayed percentage should converge correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Thunder 350L won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Almost certainly not dead — it is a BMS lockout. Li-ion cells stored uncharged drop below 2.5V per cell, and the protection circuit locks out to prevent damage. Plug it into a wall charger (not a USB port) and leave it for 30–40 minutes without pressing the power button. Most locked-out cells recover once the charger pushes enough current to bring the cell back above the BMS release threshold of around 2.8V.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged this replacement battery — it only slow charges now.

The phone's charge IC runs a handshake with the battery's BMS on the first cycle to confirm it can accept high-current charge. On some Thunder 350L units, this handshake does not complete correctly on the very first charge after a cell swap. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off, then reconnect the charger before powering back on. This forces the charge IC to re-initiate the negotiation, and fast charge normally resumes from the second cycle onward.

The battery percentage on my Thunder 350L jumps around randomly — went from 60% straight to 34% without any heavy use.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue — the IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has lower internal resistance and a different voltage slope, so the IC's estimates are inaccurate until it builds a new reference. Run two full discharge and charge cycles without interruption at standard (non-fast) charge speed, and the coulomb counter will re-anchor to the new cell's actual curve.
