Sale priceFrom $60.99 USD Regular price $75.99
Shipping calculated at checkout.
Fits LawnMaster L10 and L12 models, replacing OEM part numbers 18LB2035 and 631001122.
18V and 2600mAh capacity delivers full blade torque on thick turf without early cutoff during dense grass sections.
Slide connector seats flat into the mower's battery slot with a positive locking tab that clicks both directions.
We bench-tested this cell under sustained blade load and confirmed the BMS held steady through normal mowing cycles without nuisance trips.
Before first spring use, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C — cold Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance and blade motor inrush current can trip the BMS on a cold pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LawnMaster L10 / L12 — 18V Li-ion Replacement Battery (18LB2035)

This is an 18V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the LawnMaster L10 and L12 cordless lawn mowers. It replaces OEM part numbers 18LB2035 and 631001122. Voltage, connector, and BMS handshake match the original pack.

  • L10 and L12 compatibility: Both models run the same 18V rail, share the same battery connector housing, and use the same BMS communication protocol — one battery fits either mower without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through simulated blade-motor inrush at startup. The BMS held through normal start cycles and tripped correctly under sustained over-current, then reset cleanly after the load was removed.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before putting the mower away for winter, charge the battery to around 50–60% — not full. A fully charged Li-ion pack sitting unused for several months degrades faster than one stored at partial charge.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

The blade motor on the L10 and L12 draws significantly more current through dense or wet grass than it does on a dry, maintained lawn. If the current spike exceeds the BMS threshold — typically triggered in one to two seconds of sustained overload — the pack shuts down to protect the cells. This is not a battery fault; it is the protection circuit doing its job. Let the mower sit for five minutes before restarting, and approach thick patches at a slower walking pace to keep the motor load within BMS limits.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly during storage. After several months in a cold garage, the pack voltage can drop below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 12.5V on an 18V pack — causing the charger to show a fault or refuse to start. Some chargers have a recovery or trickle mode; activate it and leave the pack connected for 20–30 minutes. If yours does not, a brief charge from a compatible 18V charger set to recovery mode can bring the cell voltage back above the acceptance threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LawnMaster cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a short wait — is the battery faulty?

This is thermal protection activating, not a cell fault. The blade motor generates heat under continuous load, and the BMS shuts the pack down when internal temperature hits the cutoff point. Wait five minutes before restarting — the cells need to drop back below the thermal threshold. If it happens repeatedly on short rows, check that the blade isn't clogged and that you're not mowing wet grass, both of which increase motor draw significantly.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one after mowing — should I be concerned?

New cells run warmer than worn ones for the first few charge and discharge cycles. A worn pack has higher internal resistance, which actually generates more heat — but the lower capacity means shorter run time, so you notice less heat overall. With fresh cells at full capacity under real mowing load, some warmth is expected for the first four to five cycles. If the pack is too hot to hold comfortably after a normal mow beyond that break-in period, check that the battery slot on the mower is clear of grass debris blocking airflow around the pack.

My LawnMaster starts sluggishly on the first cold morning of spring — is the battery undercharged?

Cold temperatures increase internal resistance in Li-ion cells, which reduces the current they can deliver on demand. Below 10°C, the blade motor's inrush current can momentarily exceed what the cold pack can supply, causing a slow or hesitant start. Charge level is not the issue — a fully charged cold pack still behaves this way. Bring the battery indoors for a few hours before your first cold-weather mow; once the cells are at room temperature, startup performance returns to normal.
