Fits Lenovo ET960 smartphone; replaces OEM battery BP07 directly.
3.7V, 1300mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge cycles to the ET960.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot with no adapter needed.
We cycled this cell on ET960 hardware; BMS accepted charge at standard rate immediately.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo ET960 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BP07)

The BP07 is a 3.7V, 1300mAh lithium-polymer cell for the Lenovo ET960 smartphone. It replaces the original battery when the cell has degraded, lost capacity, or stopped holding a charge. Dimensions are 65.30 × 38.74 × 5.70mm — measure your bay before ordering if you are unsure.

  • ET960 fitment: The BP07 part number is specific to the ET960 platform. The connector pinout and BMS handshake match the charge IC on this board — swapping in a generic cell with a mismatched BMS profile can cause the OS to misread state-of-charge from the first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge on the ET960 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering a fault flag, and the fuel gauge IC began tracking voltage within the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ET960 after a cell swap

A new lithium-polymer cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the original cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated against. When the phone hits a voltage point the IC interprets as empty — even if the cell still has charge — the modem or display load causes a voltage dip below the shutdown threshold. The OS reads this as 0% and cuts power instantly. Running two full discharge-charge cycles at standard rate recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates most of these early shutdowns.

ET960 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Lithium-polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the BP07 dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters a lockout state and the phone will not respond to a normal power button press. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS unlock threshold. Once the voltage recovers above 3.0V, the BMS releases and the phone will power on normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ET960 shuts off at around 25% battery — is the new BP07 cell faulty?

This is almost always a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter on the ET960 board was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new BP07 cell hits a different voltage at that charge level — enough to trigger a shutdown under modem or screen load. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard rate with fast charging disabled, and the fuel gauge IC will remap to the new cell's curve. After that, the 20–30% shutdowns typically stop.

The ET960 percentage is jumping around erratically after I fitted the BP07 — what is happening?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge profile. The coulomb counter lost its reference point when the original cell was removed, and it is now trying to re-establish the curve from partial data. Let the phone discharge to below 5% and then charge uninterrupted to 100% at least once — this gives the IC a full sweep of the cell's voltage range. The percentage readings stabilise once that first calibration cycle completes.

Fast charging stopped working on my ET960 after fitting the replacement battery — how do I fix it?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge ICs default to a conservative charge profile until they confirm the new cell is responding correctly. Disconnect the phone from the charger, power it off, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect — this forces the charge IC to re-negotiate the charge protocol with the new BMS. If fast charging still does not activate, complete one standard-rate full charge cycle first; the IC typically unlocks the higher current rate after confirming the cell's internal resistance is within its expected range.
