Fits Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (2nd Gen) model TB-X6C6F and replaces OEM part L20D1P32.
3.86V, 3400mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the same capacity as the factory pack for this 10.3-inch tablet.
Connector slides straight into the internal battery slot with the flex lead oriented toward the mainboard contact pad.
We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge — the fuel gauge IC initialized cleanly and tracked voltage without drift.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% to recalibrate the fuel gauge and resolve inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (2nd Gen) — 3.86V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L20D1P32)

This is a 3.86V, 3400mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (2nd Gen) tablet. It fits models TB-X6C6F, TB-X6C6X, and Tab K10. OEM part number L20D1P32 confirms the correct cell format and connector for these boards.

  • TB-X6C6F, TB-X6C6X, and Tab K10 compatibility: These three models share the same mainboard charging circuit, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — so a single L20D1P32 cell works across all of them without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a TB-X6C6F unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the charge IC, accepted a full charge without thermal fault, and reported state-of-charge to the OS without error.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the fuel gauge IC to map its thresholds against the new cell and clears the percentage drift that shows up on fresh installations.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% after battery replacement

The fuel gauge IC stores calibration data from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC's stored voltage-to-capacity curve no longer matches the real discharge profile of the replacement. Under combined display and WiFi load, the voltage drops sharply at the low end — faster than the stale curve predicts. The IC reads that as zero capacity and cuts power. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% recalibrates the curve against the new cell and stops the premature cutoff.

Fast charging not resuming after battery swap

The Tab M10 Plus uses USB-PD negotiation to step up charge voltage from the adapter. On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC runs a conditioning pass at standard voltage before it accepts the higher PD profile. This looks like fast charge is broken, but it is not a fault. Complete one full charge cycle from a low state using the original Lenovo adapter. After that cycle finishes, fast charging resumes at the negotiated voltage on subsequent charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is showing the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the battery. The fuel gauge IC on the mainboard is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, so the percentage it reports is off against the new cell. Run the tablet down until it shuts off automatically, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without using it during the charge. That single cycle resets the IC's calibration against the new cell and the percentage display corrects itself.

My Tab M10 Plus keeps dying suddenly at around 20% — it was fine before the battery swap, now it just cuts out.

This is a voltage cliff issue. Under the combined load of the display and WiFi, the new cell's voltage drops steeply at the low end, faster than the fuel gauge IC's stale calibration expects. The IC interprets that voltage drop as zero capacity and cuts power — even though charge remains in the cell. Do one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The IC recalibrates its cutoff threshold against the real cell profile and the sudden shutdowns stop.

The tablet feels warm near the top edge while charging after fitting this battery — should I be concerned?

Warmth at the top edge during charging is normal on first use with a new cell. The charge IC runs a higher-current conditioning pass on a fresh Li-Polymer cell, which generates slightly more heat than a settled battery. It typically normalises after two or three full charge cycles. If the tablet gets hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, or shows a temperature warning on screen, stop charging and check that the replacement cell is seated flat with no flex in the connector — but mild warmth alone is not a fault.
