When the vacuum encounters a sustained blockage — thick carpet, a clogged inlet, or a jammed brush — the motor current spikes and the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. The brief pause allows the BMS to reset and the motor restarts. Clear the blockage, check the filter for restriction, and test again. If trips repeat on a clear machine, measure pack voltage at rest — it should read at least 25.2V fully charged.
