This is a 25.9V Li-ion replacement battery pack for the Xiaomi G9 Plus cordless vacuum cleaner. It carries OEM part number V2524-7S1P-GYA and delivers 2700mAh (69.93Wh) capacity. It fits the G9 Plus and G9 Plus Handheld Vacuum Cleaner models.

  • G9 Plus platform fitment: Both G9 Plus variants share the same 25.9V seven-cell series configuration, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one pack covers the full model range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the G9 Plus motor assembly. The BMS correctly negotiated cell balancing on charge and held overcurrent protection thresholds within spec under sustained motor load.
  • Dock charging habit for the G9 Plus: Do not leave the G9 Plus sitting on the charging dock continuously. Xiaomi's onboard charger does not fully terminate trickle current, so cells held at peak voltage daily lose measurable capacity within a few months. Charge to full, then remove.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the G9 Plus

This happens when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than the rated load. The BMS sees an overcurrent condition and reduces output voltage before any cell is actually depleted. The indicator reads mid-charge because the cells still hold capacity — the motor just can't pull full draw through the restriction. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest under load.

G9 Plus motor cutting out briefly then recovering during use

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. On the G9 Plus, sustained suction against a blockage or dense carpet pushes motor current above the pack's trip threshold. The BMS interrupts output, the motor stops, then the circuit resets after a few seconds. Clear the blockage, check the filter for restriction, and confirm cell voltage is above 22V at rest before ruling out a failing pack.

My Xiaomi G9 Plus replacement battery charges fully but suction still feels weaker than it used to — what's happening?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor works harder than rated, pulling extra current that causes the BMS to throttle output voltage before cells are depleted. The result is weak suction even on a full charge. Clean or replace the filter and retest — if suction recovers, the battery is fine.

The G9 Plus motor cuts out for a few seconds mid-clean, then comes back on by itself — is this the battery or a fault?

This is a BMS overcurrent trip. The pack interrupts output when motor current spikes past the protection threshold — most often caused by a blocked brush roll, dense carpet, or a clogged filter forcing the motor to strain. The cells themselves may still be healthy. Clear any blockage, clean the filter, and check that resting voltage after a full charge reads at or above 25.5V.

My G9 Plus battery lost noticeably more capacity after a few months — I haven't dropped it or misused it.

Continuous dock charging is almost always the cause. The G9 Plus charger does not fully cut trickle current when the pack reaches 100%, so cells held at peak voltage daily accumulate stress that degrades capacity faster than normal cycling. From now on, charge only when the battery is depleted, then remove the vacuum from the dock once the indicator shows full.
