Fits LG VS910, Revolution, Revolution 4G, MS910 and replaces OEM part BF-45FNV.
3.7V, 1500mAh capacity delivers five hours of talk time on this candybar messaging phone.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single friction latch — no secondary clips required.
We charged this cell through five full cycles on an LG charger; the BMS accepted load immediately with stable voltage output.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without using fast charge — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before accepting high-current input.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG VS910 Revolution 4G — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BF-45FNV)

This 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the LG VS910, Revolution, Revolution 4G, and MS910. It fits the original battery bay with no modification. Swap it in when the existing cell no longer holds charge or triggers unexpected shutdowns.

  • VS910 / Revolution 4G platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, battery connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — one cell covers all variants in the lineup without any wiring or bracket changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on a VS910 unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected under a simulated dead-short condition.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, run one full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled. The fuel gauge IC on the VS910 was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — running one unconstrained cycle lets the coulomb counter reset its reference before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the VS910 after a cell swap

The VS910 fuel gauge IC tracks battery state using a coulomb counter referenced to the original cell's voltage-capacity curve. A new cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile, so the gauge loses accuracy near the bottom of the discharge range. Under LTE radio load or screen-on bursts, the cell voltage drops faster than the gauge expects and the BMS cuts power before the OS can record it as a low-battery shutdown. One full discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the counter. After that cycle, the reported percentage tracks actual cell voltage within normal tolerance.

Phone shows incorrect battery percentage for several days after replacement

The VS910's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model tied to the old cell's impedance. When a new cell goes in, that stored model is wrong — the gauge may read 80% while the cell is nearly empty, or jump erratically between readings. This is a calibration gap, not a faulty cell. Drain the battery until the phone shuts off from low voltage, then charge to 100% without interruption. After one complete cycle, the coulomb counter rebuilds its reference and percentage reporting stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LG VS910 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

It's not dead — it's in BMS lockout. Cells stored below roughly 2.5V trigger a protection cutoff that blocks normal startup. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold. Once voltage climbs above 3.0V, the protection circuit releases and the phone boots normally.

The VS910 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after swapping the cell — is something wrong?

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled one. The charge IC pushes the same current it used with the old cell, and higher impedance means more heat dissipated in the cell during the first few cycles. This is normal and fades as the cell breaks in over three to five charge cycles. If the phone is still noticeably warm after five full cycles, check that the battery cover is seated flat — a gap traps heat against the cell.

Fast charging stopped working after I put in the replacement battery on my Revolution 4G — it only slow-charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the VS910 platform often defaults to trickle or standard charge until it confirms the new cell's BMS handshake. This is a protective fallback, not a fault. Run one complete charge to 100% on standard charge, then disconnect and reboot the phone. On the next charge cycle the fast-charge protocol re-negotiates with the new BMS and higher charge current resumes.
