Fits Liectroux C30B, C30B 2D, C30B 2D Wifi, and E30 models; replaces OEM part MD-C30B battery pack.
14.4V lithium-ion at 2600mAh delivers 37.44Wh total — maintains motor voltage under carpet suction load.
Connector seats vertically into dock slot with single locking tab; orientation is fixed and keyed.
We bench tested the BMS under sustained motor draw on thick carpet; cutoff held at 11.5V with no early shutdown.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — Liectroux docks apply trickle charge that degrades capacity within weeks; charge fully and remove until next cleaning cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Liectroux C30B Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MD-C30B)

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh (37.44Wh) Li-ion battery pack built to the MD-C30B specification. It fits the Liectroux C30B, C30B 2D, C30B 2D Wifi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, and E30. When the original pack loses the voltage headroom to complete a full cleaning cycle, this replacement restores it.

  • C30B and E30 platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V power rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell specification covers all listed variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge and discharge cycles on a C30B unit. The BMS engaged overcurrent protection correctly under a simulated motor blockage and reset cleanly once load was removed.
  • Dock charging habit on the C30B: Do not leave the C30B sitting on its charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging degrades Li-ion cell capacity significantly faster than charge-and-remove cycles. Charge to full, then lift the unit off the dock until the next run.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually because the filter is partially blocked. A restricted airflow path forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher amps and triggering a soft voltage sag at the cell level. The robot interprets that sag as reduced charge, so the indicator reads mid-range while suction has already fallen. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If the problem persists on a fresh filter, the original battery pack has likely reached end of cell life.

Motor cutting out mid-cycle and then recovering on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip — not a permanent fault. When the robot hits a carpet edge, a large debris piece, or a partial blockage, the motor draws a short spike of current above the BMS threshold. The BMS disconnects to protect the cells, then resets once load drops. If this happens repeatedly, check for a blocked brush roll or a clogged filter before assuming the battery is faulty. A healthy pack on this platform should sustain motor-start current without tripping; if trips continue on a clear machine, verify the pack is reading 14.4V fully charged before investigating further.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Liectroux C30B loses suction well before it shows a low battery — is this the battery or the filter?

Usually both are contributing. A partially clogged filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes voltage sag at the cell level — the robot reads that sag as normal discharge, so the indicator looks fine while suction has already dropped. Clean or replace the filter first and run a fresh cycle. If suction still drops early on a clear filter, the cell pack has degraded and needs replacement.

The C30B motor cuts out for a few seconds then starts again on its own — what's causing that?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip resetting itself. When the brush roll hits a resistance spike — thick carpet, tangled hair, or a debris blockage — the motor draws a current surge above the BMS cutoff threshold, which disconnects the pack momentarily. Once the load drops, the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the brush roll and check the filter; if trips continue on an unobstructed machine, charge the pack fully to 14.4V and retest before replacing anything.

The replacement MD-C30B battery charges but the C30B still won't run a full cleaning cycle — what should I check first?

Some C30B units store a residual fault state from a deeply discharged original pack, and the new battery inherits that state on first use. Place the new pack on the dock for a full uninterrupted charge until the indicator goes solid, then remove the unit from the dock and power cycle it completely — hold the power button until the robot restarts. If the cycle length is still short, confirm the filter and brush roll are clear, since restriction is the most common reason a healthy 2600mAh pack underperforms its rated capacity.
