• 800T / 820T / 830T platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V motor architecture and battery connector format. The 4S1P cell arrangement matches the OEM BMS handshake that the vacuum's charge circuit expects, so the charger recognises the pack and begins the charge cycle normally.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the 800T platform. The BMS handled sustained motor draw without tripping on a clean filter. Under a partially blocked filter, current draw spiked — the BMS responded with a cutoff and reset, which is expected behaviour for this vacuum's protection circuit.

This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the battery can deliver cleanly at that state of charge. A restricted filter is usually the trigger — it forces the motor to work harder, pulling amperage above the BMS's sustained current threshold. The result is voltage sag at the cell level, which the motor experiences as reduced power before the indicator registers a low-battery warning. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction across a full charge cycle.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction drives motor current above the pack's protection threshold, the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. After a short thermal or timer reset, it reconnects — which is why the vacuum comes back on its own. The fix is to clear the blockage or clean the filter before the next run. If it trips on a clean machine with no blockage, check that cell voltage after a full charge reads at or above 16.2V across the pack.
