Fits Logitech G Cloud handheld gaming device; replaces OEM battery 533-000213.
3.85V, 5900mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full play session capacity on the G Cloud portable console.
Connector seats into the G Cloud battery slot with flat contact orientation and retention clip.
We bench-tested this cell on a G Cloud unit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault delay.
On first use after install, run one complete wireless play session to full automatic cutoff before recharging — the G Cloud fuel gauge calibrates against this first full discharge cycle to set the empty reference point.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech G Cloud — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (533-000213)

This is a 3.85V, 5900mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the Logitech G Cloud handheld gaming console. It fits the G Cloud (model numbers 940-000198 and GR0006). Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a full play session.

  • G Cloud platform fit: The G Cloud, 940-000198, and GR0006 all share the same battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all three variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a G Cloud unit. The onboard BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installing, run one complete wireless play session to automatic cutoff before plugging in. The G Cloud's fuel gauge IC sets its empty reference point against the first full discharge — skipping this step causes the indicator to read inaccurately from the start.

Why the G Cloud fuel gauge jumps or reads incorrectly after a cell swap

The G Cloud uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state against a learned discharge curve from the original cell. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC's stored curve no longer matches reality. This causes the percentage readout to jump — often dropping suddenly from 40% to 5%, or stalling at a fixed value. After three to five full discharge-and-charge cycles, the IC re-learns the curve and the readout stabilises.

G Cloud charging slower than expected after battery replacement

The charge IC on the G Cloud applies a conservative current limit when it detects an unconditioned cell — this is a built-in safety behaviour, not a fault with the replacement battery. On the first charge, the IC runs a trickle phase longer than usual before stepping up to full rate. This clears after one complete charge cycle from empty to full. Confirm the charge IC has stepped up by checking that the console body stays only slightly warm — if it stays cold throughout, the IC is still in trickle mode and will advance on the next cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My G Cloud drops from 30% battery straight to zero and shuts off — is the new cell faulty?

This is the fuel gauge IC losing track of the cell's actual discharge curve, not a faulty cell. The IC inherited calibration data from the old cell, which doesn't match the new cell's voltage-versus-capacity profile. Run three to five full cycles — drain to automatic cutoff, then charge to 100% — and the IC will re-learn the curve. After that, shutdown should align with 0% on the display.

The G Cloud shows a lower play time than I expected straight out of the box after fitting this battery — what's wrong?

New Li-Polymer cells don't deliver their rated capacity on the first cycle. Internal resistance is higher until the cell has been conditioned. We measured a gradual capacity increase across the first three to five full discharge-recharge cycles on the bench. By cycle five, output should be close to the rated 5900mAh — avoid judging the cell's performance before that point.

The G Cloud stopped recognising the battery at all after I replaced it — the screen stays black and it won't boot.

This usually means the battery connector isn't fully seated, or the BMS has tripped into protection mode from a brief short during reassembly. Press the connector firmly until it clicks, then hold the power button for 15 seconds to force a BMS reset attempt. If the console still won't boot, connect it to a charger for 10 minutes — the BMS requires at least 3.0V at the cell terminals before it will release the protection latch and allow the system to power on.
