This 3.7V, 1750mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Mегафон SP-A10 smartphone. It fits the SP-A10 directly and matches the stock voltage and physical dimensions (64.60 × 43.95 × 5.10mm). Capacity is rated at 6.48Wh — identical to the factory specification.

  • SP-A10 fitment: The SP-A10 uses a removable Li-ion cell on a 3.7V rail with a standard three-contact connector. This cell matches that connector pinout, voltage, and physical footprint — no trimming or adapter needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SP-A10 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination fired correctly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before it starts reporting percentages to the OS — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings for the first few days.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SP-A10 after a cell swap

A new cell has a discharge curve the fuel gauge IC has never seen before. The IC — calibrated to the old, degraded cell — misreads the new cell's state of charge and reports 20–30% when the actual cell voltage is already near the BMS cutoff threshold. Under load from the modem or display, voltage sags below 3.2V and the BMS shuts the phone down to protect the cell. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and corrects the curve mapping. After that cycle, shutdowns at false percentages stop.

SP-A10 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the replacement cell dropped below 2.5V before installation, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. The phone will not respond to the power button or show a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a low-current charger — 5V/0.5A via USB — and leave it for 15–20 minutes. Once the cell climbs above 2.7V, the BMS releases lockout and normal charging resumes.

The SP-A10 keeps shutting off at around 25% — why does this happen with a new battery?

The fuel gauge IC on the SP-A10 is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. It reports 25% remaining when the new cell's voltage has already sagged close to the BMS cutoff under screen or modem load. Run one complete discharge — down to auto-shutdown — followed by a full uninterrupted charge. After that single cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the false shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my SP-A10 jumps around erratically after fitting this replacement — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The SP-A10's fuel gauge IC learned the discharge curve of the original cell over hundreds of cycles. A new cell with a different internal resistance profile causes the IC to lose position on the curve, which shows up as percentage jumps of 5–15% in either direction. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the IC rebuilds its curve model against the new cell. Erratic readings settle after that.

The SP-A10 won't turn on at all after I installed the replacement — the screen stays blank even on charge.

If the replacement cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, the BMS latched into deep-discharge lockout and is blocking all current. Plug into a 5V/0.5A charger — a standard USB wall adapter, not a fast charger — and leave the phone connected for at least 20 minutes without pressing any buttons. Once the cell voltage recovers past 2.7V the BMS releases lockout, the charging indicator appears, and the phone boots normally.
