This 3.7V, 1750mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the MegaFon SP-A10 smartphone. It fits directly into the SP-A10 chassis using the same connector and cell footprint as the factory unit. Capacity figures come from the product data: 1750mAh / 6.48Wh.

  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installing this cell, run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the SP-A10's fuel gauge IC a full reference curve for the new cell before the OS starts reporting state-of-charge to apps.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SP-A10 after a cell swap

A new cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated against. When the SP-A10 hits a steep voltage drop under modem or screen load, the system sees a voltage below the shutdown floor even though the percentage display still reads 20–30%. The phone cuts power to protect the board. One full discharge-to-shutdown and uninterrupted recharge cycle lets the coulomb counter re-anchor its curve to the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

The fuel gauge IC stores the previous cell's discharge model in memory. With a new cell installed, the stored model no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so the reported percentage can jump 10–15 points mid-use or spike unexpectedly on charge. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is the IC recalibrating. Let the phone run two complete discharge-charge cycles without interruption, and the percentage display will stabilise.

Why does my MegaFon SP-A10 shut off suddenly at around 25% after fitting the new battery?

Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without unplugging. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter a new reference point, and the early shutdowns stop.

The SP-A10 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for a few months — what's wrong?

Li-ion cells that sit uninstalled self-discharge over time. If the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS locks out charge acceptance to prevent damage to an over-discharged cell. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC applies a trickle current that brings the cell voltage back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once voltage recovers above 3.0V, the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging isn't working on the SP-A10 after I swapped the battery — it only charges slowly now?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the SP-A10's charge IC often defaults to a conservative constant-current profile while it checks BMS communication and cell impedance. This is normal behaviour and not a fault. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — the IC will renegotiate the charge rate against the now-characterised cell and restore the faster charge current on subsequent cycles.
